Lucia shook her head, and nodded thanks to Ash for pulling Shy out of there. Now....what were we talking about? Erm...I mean thinking about. Lucia laughed quietly, looking at their cozy apartment. The rain still pounded outside, slapping the concrete, pattering on the roof. "We need a fireplace..." she murmured, a side thought.

" Yeah sure. I'm gonna leave Bolt here. He needs to stay dry. Just let me change. " She grabbed a pair of jeans and a shirt and raced to the bathroom. She closed the door and pulled them on and put on some converse. She put some hairspray in her hair and opened the door. She grabbed a jacket and said, " Let's go. " She turned to Lucia and Kayden, " Have fun. "

Shia smiled at Ash. "Okay." He laughed and said, "Mind if I use the vines and swing all the way to the adoption center?" he asked. It was a crazy question, but that was the way he was. Crazy. He sighed. Shia loved the rain. It was one of his most favorite weathers; the other wsa snow. But they were about the same thing. He drank the last of his Mountain Dew and threw it in the nearby trash can about 5 feet away. It landed straight in. "Swish!" he said, smiling.
Kayden nodded. Hmm...what WERE we thinking about...I forget, he laughed into her mind. I think we were just...admiring each other's eyes, he murmured slowly, sort of in a trance. He touched her cheek, turning her face towards his, and leaned the side of his head on the back of the sofa as he gazed at her. "Yeah, this is how I want to stay," he said softly, out loud.
Ash giggled and said, " Go for it, Tarzan. " She turned and started walking to the pet shop. She pushed her bangs back and raced across the street. She felt the rain splash on her hair and she gave a laugh. She turned to Shia, " Can I tell you something? "

"Because for now, life is good. Even though I'm a mummy." She looked into his eyes, just sitting on the couch. there was nothing more important to do anyway. She deserved a break. After almost killing herself and getting bruised all over. Yeah...that was really smart. Do you think you can show me some more hand-to-hand stuff some time? I think I got really bruised up...

Shia nodded. "Sure." He smiled. "Anything.. but why do you have to ask me?" He raised his hands and got the vines to shoot out. He grabbed Ash by the waist and started swinging on them single handed. It was pretty easy.. for him. "Bend the light and telll me what you want to tell me!" ye yelled.
Of course, Kayden promised. Maybe we should work together more in battles...you with your flying thing, you could drop us down on top of 'em...Or even, just drop yourself to distract them, and then I could come around behind and hit them in the back of the head...that's a good place, he added, because it stuns people if you hit them hard enough in the back of the head. That's why birds lie stunned on the ground when they hit a window and then fall face-up on the ground, he laughed, realizing just how random his thoughts were sometimes.
Lucia laughed, shaking her head. "Too bad I can't make lightning any further than two feet in front of me." She smiled, but nodded. "Yeah, working together would probably be really good. That way, we can both keep one another out of the dumps, and get more Shades down at once."

Ash closed her eyes and deflected it off her and him so it looked like nothing was there. She opened her eyes and put her arms around his neck, " This is so not cool, I am afraid of heights. But, I can live with it. " She pressed her head into his chest and closed her eyes.
