"Justin I've never liked Winter. Ever! He's one of my bestfriends but nothing more but I wouldn't expect you understand the concept of friends or girlfriends because the way you are acting you'd never be able to keep them around. As of now there is nothing between us absolutly nothing"she said turning around and running back to the others. She was borderline crying when Aaden grabbed her in the forest and pulled her to him. At first she tried to run away but then she realized it was him and gave up.

"I'm not going to hurt you it's okay"Aadan told her softly.

Winter had heard Justin & Delilah & had been hiding behind a tree, he heard what Delilah said about him. His heart sank & he stared at his feet in disbelief, he let out the breath he had been holding. He swallowed somewhat roughly & started to walk away trying not to get noticed by Aadan or Delilah or Cerelia.

After a few minutes Delilah got up and was walking back to the fire when she ran into Winter. "I-I'm sorry"she said her voice low and strangled from crying. When she looked up her eyes were red and damp from tears. "I guess you heard everything that went on back there."she said.

Aaden got up and went to find Justin his happy mood gone to be replaced by one of anger.

Winter slowly nodded on the verge of tears, he cleared his throat abit. "It's..not a big deal to me...you have the right to like who you want not me.." he whispered & shivered slightly putting his hands in his pockets as he slowly looked up at her. He showed sympathy & slight hurt in his green eyes.

"Winter you didn't...I mean you don't...."she was at a loss for words at the moment. She wrapped her arms around Winter softly unsure her long hair flowing in the wind that had started picking up and gradually getting colder. She was wearing a tank top and was freezing because she took off her jacket earlier.

Winter bit his lip & gentily hugged her back but it was a friendly hug, he only broke the hug to take off his jacket. He gentily wrapped it around Delilah & zipped it up to keep her warm, he rubbed his arms abit to make the goosebumps on his arms go away. He thought he could see his breath if it were alittle colder around them.

Justin heared footsteps behind him He turned and saw Aaden he saw the angry look on the Autumn fey's face. He didin't have time to put up with Aaden he was still a little shocked by Delilah's reply to him. He clenched his teeth then demanded "What do you want Aaden?!" He knew walking away was useless now. He waited for a reply from the angry fey.

"Did I not warn you? I told you not to mess with her and look what you did you messed with her and then blew it. The only chance you had with her you blew because you are so self focused. She only had eyes for you isn't that what you wanted? For her to want you? When she finally did you crushed her. Not even a Winter Queen could do someone like that and she is evil in it's best."he told him.

Delilah started to unzip it and said "Winter are you sure? It's your jacket you can take it back if you want"

Winter nodded, "I'm sure, you can wear as long as you want it." He said softly & shivered abit more trying no to make it obvious that he was cold. His breath started to show as a misty fog in the air & he looked at Delilah, "I..think there's food back at camp.." He looked at her gentily not wanting to make her do anything she didn't want to.
