Silver Trace

All righty guys! This story is based on Timbersong. It's not her history, it's basiclly a book on her, how she goes on a quest and stuff like that. I'm not sure if this story will survive; for all I know, It might die after it's first three posts! But I'm eager to find out! And please coment, it'll help keep this alive AND i'll know what you guys thing about my writing! Thanks!

Littletail- Ginger tom with big yellow eyes

Medicine Cat

Blueheart- Pretty bluish white she-cat with gray eyes.

Warriors

Shadoweyes- Black tom with gray paws and blue eyes.

Talonclaw- Ginger colored tom with sandy orange eyes and a black tail.

Apprentice, Flowerpaw

Nightcloud- A gray tom with blue eyes

Lightray- A golden yellow tom with big brown eyes.

Apprentice, Streampaw

Timbersong- Silver tabby she-cat with blue eyes and white paws.

Lilyflower - Pretty scotish fold with curly ears and green eyes, a very colorful pelt.

Apprentice, Smokepaw

Pixiedust - Brownish dusky she-cat with pretty brown eyes.

Apprentices

Flowerpaw- Gray she-cat with blue eyes.

Streampaw- A silver white she-cat with really deep blue eyes, like ocean water.

Smokepaw- A smokey black tom with yellowish gray eyes.

Queens

Dappletail- A tortiseshell she-cat with black paws, white ears, and green eyes.

Songbird -White she-cat with brown eyes.

Elders

Smallwhisker -A very old black tom with unusually short whiskers

Flyheart- A golden brown sh-cat with scratched blue eyes, retired early due to failing sight.

Prologue

The pool was crystal and clear. I was sure I was dreaming; I had the feeling of that fuzzy sensation you get when you're dreaming. I could see my reclection in the small pool, and I could see stars. Lots and lots of stars. Suddenly, the stars started to move, one by one, and they created to cats. They were beautiful cats, I had to admit. One was a silver she-cat with blue eyes and a smile on her face, and the other was a dark brown she-cat with blackish eyes. I smiled a weak smile at them. My stomach churned; they were StarClan cats!
I braced myself as the neared me. They were walking step by step, pacce by pace. Finally, they were a foot away.
"Timbersong.." the silver cat whispered. "Timbersong, I am Silvermoon." "And I am Dusknight." the brown cat said. Her voice supprised me, it was oddly soft and friendly, though her outside look was quite... unfriendly. I smiled.
"I guess you know I'm Timbersong..." I said sheepishly. Silvermoon laughed a laugh that sounded like bells, and Dusknight cracked a smile.
"We know," Dusknight said. "And we came to warn you, as well as Pixiedust. There will be a day, in a few moons, where everything will grow cold, colder than leaf bare. You will need to travel farther than any cat as traveled to bring your clan to saftey." Silvermoon continued after her partner. "We expect you and Pixiedust to lead your clan." I shruddered.
"Where do we go?" I asked. Dusknight shook her head, as if it were secret.
"Night will become day,
hour after hour,
You cannot stay,
Or you will be devoured."

The StarClan cats faded away. I was shocked by the prophecy. At last, I woke up to the living daylight.

Chapter 1

I woke up, gasping for breath. Nightcloud stared at me for a minute, his eyes narrowed. I grimaced. Nightcloud was just one of those mean guys who would argue with you at anything possible. Some of the warriors were nice, though. Like Lilyflower. She looked at me with worried eyes.
"Are you all right?" she asked. I sighed and nodded. "Just a bad dream," I asured her. The older warrior smiled. "Well bad dreams don't catch prey. I suggest you go try and catch some mice if you can't go back to sleep." She looked at me for a last moment, then turned around so she could sleep. Dang. I couldn't sleep; I knew that for sure. That dream gave me a fright.
So reluctantly, I went outside to hunt. And sure enough, that softened me a little bit. It eased my worries. All the while I was trying to catch prey, the prophecy echoed in my head.

"Night will become day,
hour after hour.
You cannot stay,
of you will be devoured"

The words creeped me out. I didn't know if that was a real dream from StarClan, or if it was just a nightmare. I was so confused about everything. The only real proof would come from my best friend FOREVER, Pixiedust. If she had the same dream as me... StarClan said she would, but then, I don't know if it was a dream or not... then I would know it was real. I sighed, caught my last prey, and carried the 3 shrews back to camp and dropped them off at the fresh kill pile.
"Hey, Pixiedust!" I called as soon as I caught sight of my pretty brown tabby friend. She stopped and turned, then saw me and smiled. "Hi Timbersong!" she replied. "What's up?" I hurried over to her. "Well.. I had this freaky dream last night... on how we had to leave this place. And the StarClan cats said that they would go to your dream as well and tell you the same news.. I'm wondering if it was true or not..." I let my sentence slide of to an end. Pixiedust's pretty brown eyes were filled with understanding. "Yeah, I had that dream.." she muttered. "I did."
