Ebonycloud returned to Windclan territory with Duskstar's words echoing behind her. Before she went to the camp with Onyxclaw she marked the true borders of Windclan. If Duskstar wanted Windclan's territory she would have to fight for it. She was heartbroken over Duskstar's decision but her loyalty to Windclan burned ever brighter. The first 'Brokenclan' cat to cross their border would feel the wrath of the black furred deputy.

Firestar had given duskstar one more glance before turning and walking back to his clan. He arrived at windclan and walked towards his den. Though, instead of walking in it, he sat down outside it. He looked up at the sky. He was still a bit shocked at what duskstars decision was. And all the other cats who had followed her. He had always thought she was a great leader, but he never expected this. He gave a short sigh. He looked at all the cats in his clan. He was glad they were staying loyal.

Hawkshadow trotted back to the camp remembering the same words that both Duskstar and Brokenstar had said. They would have peace but that was not true she could just sense that it would be a complete disaster. She entered the Windclan camp she sighed and headed torwards the medicine cats den. She looked back at Firestar and Ebonycloud they had both stayed loyal she haden't payed attention to the other Windclan warriors and apprentices. She entered the den and started to collect and sort the herbs she would need if they were to go into battle with Brokenclan.

Sweetpaw looked intently at the returning cats, wanting to know what had happened. by their expresions, it was nothing good. she sprung up, if something bad had happened, she would have to train extre hard, so that she could protect her clan to the best of her ability, with her life if she must.

Ebonycloud managed to make it to ht emiddle of the camp. It didnt seem like Firestar was going to announce what had happened. Perhaps he was to shocked. Yet the black deputy couldnt let this knowledge go unheard. She threw back her head and let out a loud yowl. Cats of Windclan came from their dens with sleepy eyes. Ebonycloud glanced around at them and called out, "Duskstar has turned on us. She wants to create another Brokenclan. We haven't truely seen the last of this madness. My friends, its time for battle once more. For all those who have fought before us and for our future we must fight. You are all Windclan cats and i believe that you are all truly the swiftest and the most loyal. We can and will win this war. So what do you say? Will you stand and fight with me? Or will you join Duskstar?"

Firestar watched his deputy as she annouced what had happened. He smiled a bit. He knew once he died, she would be a great leader. But he wasn't going to die anytime soon. He was going to be around for a long time. He stood up and walked over to ebonycloud. He sat down next to the black she-cat and stared at his clan, waiting for anyone t say anything.

Hawkshadow poked her head out of her den when she heared Ebonycloud speak she yowled out "I will never join that cat! I will always be a loyal Windclan cat! I would be proud to fight along side all of you!" She wanted evreyone to be confident that they could beat Duskstar and the other Brokenclan cats. If she had to she would fight even though she was a medicine cat she had trained as a warrior before became a medicine cat. She had just become a medicine cat a couple of moons ago. She waited for somebody else to say something.

Sweetpaw let out a shocked and angry hiss. 'i'll shred eveyone of those, those things if i could.' she hissed. a rush of worry passed over her for her clan mated, but ebonycloud's words filled her with strenght and hope. she was part of the best and strongest clan, they could not loose.

The word of Duskstar having the same thoughts as Brokenstar had been quick news, even through the loners and rogues. But then again, Starstrukk had been there, watching the words unfold what was to be a great battle. Stomping into WindClan camp, the loud, obnoxious loner called out her old friends name. "Ebonycloud! What was that madness?!" her voice echoed, as she made her way through the half-asleep cats. "It has already spread to the loners that surround the clans!"
