Since I have a four-day weekend coming up (starting after-school tomorrow), I'll get to work on it soon, and I might have it up by Monday. Stay tuned! =3
Years ago, the Heartless and the Nobodies were defeated, their armies greatly diminished and Organization XIII disbanded. The Worlds were locked away from each other; peace was restored throughout the lands; and for now, it looked like there would be no more Darkness. All was great.
But peace is not something that stays for long. As the years wore on, darkness grew in peoples' hearts once more; the Heartless and the Nobodies, now united under the name of The Fallen, waited in the shadows, slowly building their numbers. One by one, stars began to blink out of existence, though no one knew what this meant. And then, without warning, they struck.
Radiant Garden was the first World to have its attack publicized. There the Fallen struck in large numbers, and at their head, a new group called Syndicate 12 revealed themselves, the few humans who had turned to the Darkness, choosing between becoming a Heartless or a Nobody - six Heartless, six Nobodies, the perfect balance... All too soon, the fight was over, and the world was consumed by Darkness, it inhabitants unable to fend off the invasion.
And so the conquest began. More and more worlds fell at an alarming rate, and there seemed to be little hope. That was, until the Keyblades arrived. The pureness of the Seven Princesses of Heart was strong enough to bring more Keyblades into being, each one choosing a master to help fight in the battle. You are one such Keyblade Warrior.
Kay, so I wrote this up today, and I had another, better version, but it got erased by my dad on accident, so I'd like reviews and suggestions for improvement so that I can make this one better or as good as the original. :)
Title says al - I've finally beaten KH1! Finally - I've had the game for almost 10 years and I've never beaten the final boss until today! :D WARNING: SPOILERS FOR ENDING BELOW!
Spoiler
The ending was extremely sad - definitely heart-warming and it even almost made me cry, something which very few games/movies have done. Especially when it looks like all hope is lost and then Riku and Mickey appear and help to seal the door to Kingdom Hearts, and Riku's final words beofre the door closes - "Take care of her." Plus when Sora and Kairi are being pulled away from each other as Destiny Islands reforms.
But what really got me was the part where Kairi sees how Sora added the Paopu fruit to their picture and starts crying as she adds the same to it. It was so... heart-warming... and the unspoken love of it all... You get the point. =3
Anyway, about the fight itself. Ansem, in all honesty, was incredibly... not that tough in his final form. The first part, on the beac with Donald and Goofy, was fairly easy - all you had to do was dodge the "Submit" attack and there wasn't a problem. The Darkside fight inbetween the first and second form was fairly simple, as always. Third form, this is where things got challenging. It was definitely harder fighitng him alone than with Donald and Goofy, but I managed to beat him in the end. The last form was challenging only at the beginning, because I had to constantly dodge and heal, but his defense was so low that I got rid of his health in a matter of moments. After that, eveyrhting went by in a few moments.
So, yeah. Awesome boss, awesome dialogue, awesome ending, and I definitely sugegstthis for anyone who hasn't played yet.
You're giving me too many things Lately your all i need You smiled at me and said,
Don't get me wrong I love you But does that mean I have to meet your father? When we are older you'll understand What I meant when I said "No, I don't think life is quite that simple"
When you walk away You don't hear me say please Oh baby, don't go Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight It's hard to let it go
The daily things that keep us all busy Are confusing me That's when you came to me and said,
Wish I could prove I love you But does that mean I have to walk on water? When we are older you'll understand It's enough when I say so And maybe some things are that simple
When you walk away You don't hear me say please Oh baby, don't go Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight It's hard to let it go
Hold me Whatever lies beyond this morning Is a little later on Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all Nothing's like before
When you walk away You don't hear me say please Oh baby, don't go Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight It's hard to let it go
Hold me Whatever lies beyond this morning Is a little later on Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all Nothing's like before
Hold me Whatever lies beyond this morning Is a little later on Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all Nothing's like before ~Simple and Clean - Hikaru Utada~
<3 this song - I've heard it for almost a decade and didn't find out what it was called until a few days ago. :3
Sooo, I've jsut realized that I've been an apprentice for more than two weeks, so I should be a Warrior by now, should I not? I gotta PM Moony, then. *Goes to do so*
"H-Holy One? You... You're not..." Therapon was at a loss for words. All those years he had spent searching for this being... All those years believing himself to be better than others, because they were not like he... Was this really who he had been searching for, all along? This... abomination? "Is he not the majestic being you expected him to be?" Dagaeris asked in that same, monotonous voice that did not belong to him. "I should think not - not after all these years, not after what they did to him..." "But... This is an OUTRAGE!" Therapon shouted, struggling against the vine-like tentacles binding him, like so many other contestants, near the center of the cavern. "This creature can not be the Lord spoken of in our legends!" "'Can not be'? Who are you to say what can and can not be, Skakdi?" Ruaki rumbled, his tentacles squeezing even harder. "You were a strong enough individual to search for me, to seek a way to return me to my place... But your arrogance, your pride, shall be the blade upon which you perish."
The god-like being called for another of the balloon-like creatures, which scurried forward as Therapon was thrown to the ground. With Ruaki's powerful mind blocking the Skakdi priest's powers, he was defenseless as the creature leaped at him, digging into his armor and taking control. Soon, he was another of the zombie-like beings flooding the cave. Sepcret stared in horror at this; Kovian was the first to speak. "Why do you waste your time killing us?" he demanded. "The doors are open - your path is clear. Why not break free from your prison and take back the island?" Ruaki shook his great head. "Gynel shall soon become the seedling of my kingdom," Ruaki replied. "But as long as the Shadow is in control, I can only bide my time, build my armies... It was she who bound me here, you see, and so here I will reside until she is no more." "Give me a name," Kovian pleaded, though he had an idea of who the god was referring to. "Give us a target. We'll kill the Shadow for you, we'll set you free - just tell us who must be killed and let us go." "Why do you ask, when you know who must be destroyed already?" Ruaki questioned. "You are familiar with her - an enemy you hoped you would never have to face again. But I will give you a chance. Her name is well-known - Daeja, owner of the Night Run."
