Florestadream wearily limped into camp, and sat beside her brother and Rivershine, and watched as the clan came back from the battle. Her eyes were solemn, yet fierce, as she took a deep breath. "NightClan has deemed themselves unworthy I guess," laughed Talonclaw, voice light yet face stone cold. "This doesn't seem... right," whispered Florestadream, brow furrowed. Standing, she looked around, and then saw no Whitestar in sight, so she once again sat. "They're regrouping, and waiting for a second chance," said Rivershine in a quiet voice. All of the clan was quiet, except for the quiet moan of pain, or yowl as herbs were placed to a wound, causing a more painful expierience. Florestadream's wounds were shallow or deep, but she decided to see that her clan was back before anything. "I think we need more training," said Florestadream rather sheepishly. "Though Whitestar decided to have Ivoryclaw to train the clan, and it did work rather well, I still believe we should fight how we feel comfortable and needed." Standing, she let out a loud yowl, and the clan stared at her. Hopping onto the low branch, she cleared her throat quietly. "I feel that Whitestar will agree," she began, and watched as Whitestar walked into the camp with wary eyes, "that we shall all go back to our regular training methods. Ivoryclaw taught you all well, but that was a form we all found rather different and not working, I believe. And I also believe, that our clan has heart and strength -- more than NightClan, and more than enough to win." Looking around, she met with Ivoryclaw's reproachful eyes, and she continued, "I respect his duty to the clan, and I am glad he taught the clan well. Sleep well, IvyClan, and run with grace." Then she hopped from the branch and to her brother and Rivershine, who smiled.

Ivoryclaw narrowed his eyes at Florestadream. He hadnt asked Whitestar to put him in charge of teaching the clan. It was thrust on his shoulders and now it was just as easily snatched away. He was beginning to grow tired of the wishy washy behavior of his clan's leaders. A large frown creased his lips before he turned from her and glared somewhere off in to the distance. This was annoying, the next thing that either Florestadream or Whitestar asked him to do, unless it was hunting or fighting for the clan, he would refuse. He had better things to do other than foolishly try and teach the clan how to fight. Obviously the techniques werent going to work. They had only been learning for a short while, let alone trying to combat with their already learned style. It was a foolish idea in the first place. Now his efforts for the clan were wasted, efforts and time that could have been better spent teaching his true apprentice how to fight. She could have had double the training and would have known more for the battle had he not wasted his time. What Florestadream had just proposed was that all he taught would be discarded and they would go to their former way of fighting. Would that be any better? The clan would be more comfortable, but could they win?
Badgerpaw eyes watched as Nightclan retreated. He couldn't belive that Shadowstar called his clan to retreat. He blinked his warm amber eyes, but then he felt a excrutiating pain in his sholder. Badgerpaw limped back slowly, towards the medicene cat den. His face lit up as he saw Mosspaw, coming out of the den. He limped to her side, "Your alive!" He breathed happily.

Mosspaw purred in amusement and swatted Badgerpaw lightly with her soft, green paw. "Of course I am," she said. "What'd you think? A puny NightClan apprentice bit me to death?" Laughter gleamed in her eyes but her voice was firm and strong. Happiness overcame her as she rubbed her fur against the familiar black cat who she spent almost every moment of her life with. He was quite a handsome tom, she had to admit. The figure of a tom she would want for a mate... Mosspaw looked at his wounds. "You better go see Eaglebird," she said. "They don't look so healthy." With one lick in the ear, she pushed him towards the medicine cat den. "I'll meet you in the apprentice's den!"

His cheek's got hot as he looked down at her. Badgerpaw grinned and padded into towards the den. After about ten minutes, he was all patched up, but the herbs smelled gross. He saw her in the apprentice's den and limped towards her. "Hey. I smell bad so don't blame yourself!" He smiled as he laid down next to her. His amber eyes looked over her. She was a pretty she-cat and he liked her. He sighed.

Seeing Ivoryclaw's eyes, she said, "I hope you do not feel your time was wasted, Ivoryclaw." Florestadream's own eyes stared back just as defiantly. "I also hope you do not regret in choosing to help your clan, when they needed you. I definitely saw a great change in their fighting from your help. Do not feel time has wasted." With that she stood as tall as she could, though she was small and walked away, head high. As a clan they were fighting. As a clan they would forever stand. For now, at least.

Ivoryclaw scoffed at the small she cat, "I never said it was a waste of my time. I just wish that when minds were made up they would stay that way." The white warrior curled his tail around his paws. Amberwing had gone to get herself treatment in Eaglebird's den. Ivoryclaw had washed himself off in a river on the way here and it turned out that his own wounds werent serious. He had just over exerted himself in the fight. He had fought of a tough opponent. His mind drifted toward Amberwing. Was he truely right for her? Surely not... then again who would take him other than her? She had seen past his tough and hardened heart and chose to love him anyway. Could he really do that same in return? He wasnt the kind of cat that could easily give he what she wanted or needed. THe great warrior sighed heavily and glanced toward the sky, the stars were coming out now. The battle had left them all tired and unable to truely fight any time soon. If Nightclan was smart, they would strike now. Ivoryclaw frowned, what would he do if they did attack? Was his clan really worth his life? Perhaps... then again, perhaps it wasnt.
"We are only creatures whose minds shall never be made up, Ivy. We are not all perfect, we all not all in sync. If you could see the reasonings you would clearly understand. The minds of our kind are easily swayed by anothers -- have you not learned that?" she spat over her shoulder. Maybe they would not stand side-by-side forever. Sighting Rivershine and Talonclaw, Florestadream huffed and slouched as she sat and watched as the cats wearily retired to bed. "You should do the same, you two. You deserve rest... Go sleep." And as they gave a nod of consent and padded to the warrior dens, Florestadream thought to herself, I'm so lost. And walked to the camp entrance, just to stare out there, where nothing was to stop her but the wind on her back, and the natural elements. With a sigh she shifted out of the way of the patrol -- the cats who were in the best fighting shape. That did not mean they were not tired. No matter what, they were loyal to their clan, and loyal they stood. They were surprised she heard them, and involuntarily flinched, but kept their stride. She nodded to each and every one of them, as a friend would do. Fights would do no good here, she thought, unless it has to do with that old snow-white feline's temper.
