Amberpaw didn't answer his first question, nor gave any indication that she'd heard him. She had already been searching them, and saw no need to make what she was doing more or less obvious. She watched as the clan cats practiced the move that she'd mastered the second time. She found herself correcting them in her head, but held her tounge. It was not her place to tell them what they did wrong. Then Ivoryclaw adressed her again. Maybe she did have just that right. Instead of showing them, she walked throughout the cats, winding around correct ones, and fixing ones that were wrong quickly. She pushed butts down lower, lifted chins, steadied tails, calmed quivvering whiskers. All without a word. Shw wasn't always thanked, or treated kindly for helping, but she didn't care. her mentor had asked her for a favor, and she was doing it.

At last she came to her old mentor. The queen was heavy with kits, and Amberpaw was proud to see that her mentor wasn't completely marred by this weakness. Her mentor only needed a steadying of the tail. Not many cats realised that this was their point of balance. If they wipped their tails about like ferns in the breeze, they would be much more unsteady than simply staying put. Her mentor's eyes shone with pride in her apprentice. "Ivoryclaw has taught you well." She muttered as Amberpaw walked by. "Much better than I could have." Amberpaw turned back and pressed her nose to the queen's shoulder in respect and thanks. Her mentor simply touched her nose to Amberpaw's head, then let the apprentice head on.

Ivoryclaw observed his students from atop of the rock. He made sure to mentally note who needed more work but as Amberpaw made her rounds amongst the cats and silently helped them, the class over all improved. Ivoryclaw would have to teach her some extra special today, just to be fair for her helping out so much. The tom looked to the sky, they had been working on just the stance for a good while now. Now it was time to test them. "Amberpaw," he called out, "I want them to form two single file lines. I want you and I to face those lines and we are going to attack them in their stance. I want to make sure they've got it down." With that he leapt off the rock and stood in an open area. The cats shuffled over and made two long lines. Ivoryclaw was a short distance from the leader of one of the lines and faced him like one would to spar. Amberpaw easily glided over to her spot at the front of the other line. He wasnt sure if she felt confident enough but she would have to deal with it if she didnt.
"Alright," he called out to the cats, "I want you to try and judge what Im going to do to the best of your abililties. With this stance you should easily be able to bounce me off of you if i try to knock you down, slip away from my paws easily if i try to trip you and various other things. I wont tell you what im going to do. This is going to be like a real battle so dont think its going to be that easy." The white tom turned to his apprentice and nodded to let her know she was to do the same thing.

Fuming, and angered at Whitestar's lame excuse, Florestadream stomped out of the camp, and towards the scent of all the cats. Hearing Ivoryclaw speak, she quieted her steps even more, slowly creeping up on the, "training session", which to her seemed more like a scolding session. Sitting with her tail around her paws, she stared as the cats formed two straight lines, Amberpaw facing one, Ivoryclaw facing the other. Sighing, she nodded sadly to it. Though Whitestar was right with the fact this would give them an advantage against NightClan, there was also the fact a warrior could not simply change their style. Florestadream had hers, and watching her brother struggle out there, she knew he had his own. She and her brother thought equally, though he was not as emotional as she was.

Prefering emotions, she fought with her emotions high, adrenaline rushing, and guard down while Ivoryclaw and his style was the exact opposite. Enclosed and such, kind of like a hermit turtle (or to better explain that, a turtle acting as a hermit; not the hermit crab but the hermit -- a person who keeps to themselves). Standing, her tail lazily moved side-to-side as the watched it all happen, eyes somewhat narrowed. She would not join it, even if she was killed in battle. It was just too different -- she would not and could not stand it. So, turning from it, she circled the area so she was at the back, and watched how Ivoryclaw and Amberpaw did it rather than the other cats. He and Amberpaw were definitely more sure of themselves than her clanmates, and that made them even harder to beat at their own game.

Bloodeyes looked up from his mouse he was intently eating. "What makes you want that?" he asked, amusement in his eyes. "You're trained enough!" Though humor was in his voice, he was dead serious. Mosspaw looked embarrassed and she didn't meet her mentor's eyes. "Well.. I was thinking since NightClan has formed, I would need to train more if they decided to invade camp.." She sighed and Bloodeyes smiled. He buried the remaining of his prey and got up. "Okay, let's go to the training field. We'll see how well you are at attacking and blocking."

He looked at Mosspaw. "Attack me." Mosspaw nodded. She looked at his paws, trying to find a good way to flip him over. She smiled, a plan cooking in her mind. Mosspaw ran and leaped but Bloodeyes was ready. He simply blocked her by a swish of his paws. Mosspaw growled in frustration. "Attack again, quicker this time. That was too obvious." Mosspaw studied Bloodeyes and ran. He seemed surprised, not knowing what to do. Mosspaw slid and knocked him off his paws and landed neatly on his stomach. "HA." she said simply.

Ivoryclaw nodded approvingly to his 'students'. They were beginning to grow tired and weary of the training session and the sun was high in the sky by then. The white warrior frowned slightly and yelled out, "Alright everyone. That is enough for today. Go get something to eat or join a patrol to do something." With that he turned away and motioned for Amberpaw to follow him. Despite all the training they had already done, it was now time for Amberpaw's special training. Hopefully the sessions would help her gain the respect and honor she desperatly needed.
They left the usual training field and headed for a secluded spot on the edge of the territory. Today, Ivoryclaw chose an area with some dense woods. It would be a good idea to train in all areas. "Today we shall learn how to use trees to our advantage." The tom turned toward his apprentice. "Attack me," he barked. That was usually how his own training session had started when he was merely Ivorypaw. He would do his best to use the day before's training to attack his mentor but ended up crashing to the ground with a completely new move used on him. He eventually learned to calculate how to judge what could be used in combat.

Trotting into the camp, Florestadream gave a purr of disapproval at her brothers antics. "Dear Talonclaw, calm down, why do you not?" she meowed, padding next to him to the fresh-kill pile. Picking up a mouse for herself, she bit into it quickly and looked around the camp. Seeing Silentstone, she nodded to him. She then heard Whitestar's steps in the ground. "Whitestar," she mewed, standing. Her brother would eat the rest of the mouse.
"Florestadream, I am hoping you at least tried to follow Ivoryclaw's instructions," he purred.
"Of course," she mewed, turning her back to him, and padding out of the camp.

Amberpaw followed her mentor, aware of how she wanted to drag her paws and take anap, but held strong, keeping her head clear. Just until it was dark, then she could rest all she wanted. They got to the trees, and Ivoryclaw hissed to attack her. She studied his stance, aware of how he always placed his paws the same way to give the illusion of the same reaction, but he was so unpredictable. She charged at him, slipping to the side gracefully and going for the low sweep of the move she had learned the day before, but of course he was expecting that. She felt the soft fur of his paws, and then weightlessness. She was... flying? Scrambling for a hold on anything, she landed on her side a few feet away. Standing up quickly, she shook the dust off and went over the feel of the move he had used against her in her mind, waiting for another order.

Ivoryclaw had easily predicted her move. He had tried similiar things on his mentor before. "Try again," he commanded. This time the she cat came in stronger than before. She charged at him but dodged to the side at the last moment. When she lashed out, she would have caught a lesser warrior but when her paws met the spot he was supposed to be at, he was gone. Ivoryclaw had jumped through the air, doing a small backflip on to the tree behind him. His back paws met with the tree trunk, making no sound at all. He was at a ninety degree angle with the tree and faced downward toward his apprentice. Amberpaw, whose face was startled, looked up to where he had moved. Before she could react, Ivoryclaw propelled himself off the tree and knocked his chest in to her shoulder and caused her to fall down. The white warrior had not used as much strength as he would in battle, but the blow was still enough to knock the wind out of a cat, even him if he had been on the recieving end. The move had only taken a few seconds to complete and was over almost as fast as the blink of an eye.
Ivoryclaw posed himself above her, as if to strike her neck. "Dead." he said shortly and jumped off her. "That move is only good once per apponent. If you do it twice they will have the timing down. Do not ever let them get that chance. Only use that move if you are in a forest and you have it perfected. If not used right you could fall and get yourself killed."
