Zemmie blinked slowly and found herself in a room. A white room. A very familiar white room. She groaned. "Oh, puh-lease," she muttered. This had to be a dream. Those days of freedom still had to be there. But no. She saw Amelia talking to Kit and Blaike. Amelia, the nice, kind scientist. She was the one that brought the flock here? Fury ran through her mind as she called out Amelia's name. Her voice was scratchy and thick, cracked and broken. "Amelia.. why are we here?"

Amelia glanced sideways at Zemmie, a smile crossing her face. She pulled away from Blaike and kit and moved around the few tables that were in the way. "Hello Zemmie," she breathed warmly. She reached out to put her hand on Zemmie's forehead but the look in her eyes told Amelia to back off. The dark haried woman did as she was commanded, looking hurt in her eyes. "I just explained that you are here because you were sent to find Max. Im not going to let you stay here though. We had cameras watching you six the whole time because of the nano bots in Kit and Blaike's heads. Without those it would be very difficult to find you all. Please, believe me. I know you hate us scientists but you guys are my life. You are like my own children," her eyes clouded with grief. Kit remembered that Amelia had once had a husband but he was killed in an experiment that happened here in the labs. She never had a child and never got remarried. Kit and the gang were her life now. Kit's heart ached for the woman but he knew somewhere in the pit of his stomach that anyone with a white coat couldnt be trusted.
Amelia pulled away from Zemmie and glanced toward Theo, her eyebrow raising in question, "Wait a moment... Who is Thea?" She was a little surprised at the name of the person Theo had said.

"My other half? Are you stupid as well as deaf?" Theo growled at the scientist, his fear perfectly well-masked. He didn't care what Blaike and Kit said, they had had headaches and those were gone, so they probably felt grateful to the floor too. He had just lost half of himself. Gone. Silent. Dead.

Zemmie shook her head. "No," she whispered. "No. That's not true." As much as she wanted to believe Amelia, she couldn't. She was a scientist, for goodness sake. Yeah, Amelia was sweet and kind, but a scientist.. was a scientist. And Zemmie feared them. "No.." She pulled back. "No. Why are you here the first thing I wake up. Why were ya'll tracking us. Why would you harm us. Why would ya'll capture us and then set us free?" Her voice was challenging and fierce, not usually Zemmie.

Scott felt the love Amelia had for Blaike, Kit, and Zemmie. He would never have that. A single tear ran down his cheek, and he held back any more. He looked away from her. He had to think of a plan. He had to think of one fast. If they moved them.... Yes! If the scientists moved them, they could totally beat them up, leap out of the building, and fly away. There weren't any nanobots anymore, so they couldn't track them. They could get Max and her peeps too, and if they got out they would be home free, and safe forever.

Saturn heard the others and just lay there. "I beleive Theo about Thea...even if I didn;t know about her. Why bring us to ool, or make us, then set us free only to take us back so you could find Max? She just wanted to be free like we did, not in a cage. She and her friends all... they all wanted out!"Saturn screamed in rage. She was furiouse. How...Why?! "You scientists... I know your not evil like them, but you stand gaurd over us like a loyal dog to its master! How DARE you pose as to say your a friend!"Saturn burst out,uncontrolabley blurting her feelings out like a lunatic. She saw the sorrow in the scientists eyes. She felt guilty."I...I'm sorry...I shouldn't have said that..."She appologized. She had the sudden urge to leap into a tree and hide. She was struggling with her straps that streched like rubber on her rists, but were firm like iron. She was panacing. Where was a tree?! She needed a tree! She needed her home of trees! "Get me outa here! I can't take it! Get me to a tree!" she screamed as they lay there. Her wrists hurt, but she didn't care. Her nerves had snapped. She was screaming to get out of the straps to where she felt at home...a tree. "Nooooooooooooo! Let me and my friends go! Scratch that, let them go and you can use me for your experiments! JUST LET THEM GO!" Saturn screached, getting angryer, her blood boiling. She was still struggling with the straps, non-stop, trying to get free.

"Idiotic brat! Shut. Up." Theo snarled from where he lay, glaring at the girl. She looked like she had rabies, for crying out loud. Theo waited, and nothing responded to his wry thought.
Are you really gone? he wanted to wail. She couldn't be. She couldn't just leave him. She was him. What had they done to her?
