She stared as each cat fell asleep, curling up, one by one. Of course her brothers stood by each other... In sleep and in day. Smiling, she stared again at the sky, where those little things called stars continued to twinkle like a dimmed sun. Her paws kneeded the ground uncontrollably as she laid herself down onto the ground and stared at her paws. Staring. All she did was stare. Maybe one day some good would come from watching than acting. Maybe.

okay, then. unfortunately loving an idiot who doesn't love me back. but i'm not falling. i just kind of... am. .
Scorchpaw watched as the nightmare vanished and sat in total darkness...an empty nothingness. She felt scared, but started shaking her head. She woke up to find herself charging straight for a tree! In the blink of an eye, she lay sprawled on the ground, stars popping out at her eyes. That had HURT! How had she ended up charging into a tree?!She saw the others resting and stumbled over to her bramble thicket far from the group. Then she spied a rather well sheltered tree and clibed into the thick branches, not caring if she fell. She fell asleep yet again, and the nightmare didn't come back this time.
Shadowpelt had rolled his eyes at his brother and smirked at Lilyflower and he padded over to his brother and curled on the ground bringing his tail over his nose. His dark amber eyes stared out at nothing for a bit. And then his eyes closed, and he drifted into a long dreamless, wonderfully needed sleep.
ic: Scorchpaw woke up again, feeling cold, and huddled closer to the tree. She hadn't realized how high she had climbed, and was shocked. She immediatley climbed down the tree and went back to her Bramble thicket, hoping that she could sleep without much to keep her awake. She stared out into the star filled sky of silverpelt and stayed that way, afraid to close her eyes.
Shadewing tossed a bit in his sleep. It felt like his stomach was upset and he needed to heave to settle it down. He felt intense fire cover him before he managed to snap his eyes open. Yet when he did the world around him was covered in stars. A shiny silver forest surrounded him. THis was a place he had never seen before. Fear gripped himas he bolted upright. An amused chuckle sounded from behind him and the black tom whirled around. Standing before him was a starry clad warrior. THe small tom had a deep golden tabby pelt with white paws, belly, muzzle and tail tip. The cat's eyes looked back at him with the same wild light that Shadewing always had. "So you're it eh? I woulda thought that Junpierheart would have gotten rid of her son before he could make your mother..." the small tom sat down and drew a paw over his ear to get rid of an itch. There was something different about this tom... other than him being in Starclan of course. He had a different feel about him. His eyes were wild blue of course but the centers... They certainly were different. Shadewing's eyes had a thing black slit for his pupil, as did all cats until they had adrenaline running in their viens. No, this cat's pupils were constantly round. They werent at all something Shadewing was used to. The black tom backed away as his fur bristled, "What are you talking about?" The golden and white tom only grinned larger, "You of course... You and your brother i might add." He sighed teasingly, "Im surpised that you two are all thats left of my line. Juniperheart always was a hard she cat to outwit. She was always one step ahead of me... Guess thats why i love her so much." Shadewing was really lost now. He had no idea what this crazy tom was talking about and he rightly decided that he was in some strange dream that his own overactive imagination had conjured up. "Listen," Shadewing began, "As much fun as it is talking to you, i really need to get back to my quest." The starry warrior threw his head back and laughed, "Your quest? Since when were you on a quest? Quests are given by Starclan. Missions are given by clan leaders. You are on a mission get the terms right." Shadewing frowned a the tom, "Why am i even talking to you? You are insane!" The golden tom grinned wickedly, "Insanty and genious walk the same line whelp. It serves me right for staying in the forest. I should've just gone home and sky dived one more time. I certainly missed TV thats for sure. Now Im stuck here, required to tell you that you are offically on a quest." Shadewing had been lost at what the tom was saying since he mentioned sky diving. Nothing this cat said was making sense. The golden tom stepped forward and grinned again. "Boy close you mouth, you'll catch fly if you leave it open," Shadewing pulled back in indignation at the thought. Yet the starry warrior continued, "Listen, Redstar was right to send you out for help... Its just to late however. This needed to stop a long time ago." Now the tom's wild blue eyes simmered with untold knowledge and wisdom, a strange flip from before. "You six may be all that is left when you return... Are you prepared for that?" Shadewing's motuh dropped again, "What!?" The golden tom rolled his eyes, "You certainly heard me the first time. Pay attention." He flicked his white tipped tail back and forth. "Look for the decendants of the roaring Lion. Only they can atone for what the cunning Panther has done. Only the kin of the chosen can demand their loyalty. Those who have the blood of Ghosts, Twisters and Clouds can do that for they are the only ones that have survived. Remember whelp, the Tiger has not given up his revenge." With that the dream disappeared. Shadewing felt at a loss for words. Was this really from Starclan? He was nothing special, why give this warning to Shadewing? The tom's wild blue eyes snapped open to see that the twillight world was still upon them. With a shudder he sat up and glanced toward his sister. "Resta?"

Scorchpaw had stayed up all the rest of the night, and her eyes were wide. Every time she had tried to doze off, the two toms came back into her nightmares and tried to claw her ears off. She saw that Shadewing was awake and padded over to him. She was very awake, and was bursting o tell him her dream,er,nightmare. She sat in front of him."S-say...did anything odd come up last night? In your sleep?"she shakily asked him with her eyes bulging. She was soooooooooo not gonna sleep if this happened again, and she wanted to know if he had had the same dream too.
Lilyflower smiled towards Shadow, and was right off to sleep when Shade's disturbed whisper woke her up. Jolting up from her mossy bed, she turned to face Florestadream and Shadewing. Usually, Shade was never this.. scared, unless something super bad happened. And since they were sleeping... he must've had a nightmare, or something wayy worse. Like a prophecy, maybe. She waited eagerly for Resta's reply, and Shade's explanation.
Shadewing glanced sideways at Scorchpaw and gave a shaky smile, "Eh, nothing to extravegant... Just my crazy imagination again. I used to have the worst nightmares when i was an apprentice. Ask Shadowpelt or Lilyflower, they would have to kick me to wake me from it. Plus they would glare at me the next morning for keeping them up." The nervous chuckle and explination didnt seem to be working. He didnt really want to tell everyone, it was just a dream right? That was it. Just a dream.
"Geeze you guys are loud." Shadowpelt mumbled with his eyes still closed. He opened them and saw all the cats gathered around him and his brother. "Yikes!" He growled. He looked around at everyone. Was something wrong with him? "Was I talking in my sleep again?" He looked from each cat and saw the worry in their eyes. "Uhm, did I miss something?" He asked completely confused.
