Retelling Myths .:Full:. ~A Warrior Cat RP~

Scorchpaw had made it, only to find that it had been another rabbit following her, and she had killed it. She was looking at Shadewing with out expression as he hissed at them. She was asngrey. He hadn't needed to include them in his fight. She didn't answer his question, but gave him a grimace of anger, and stalked away from him , but sat only a few feet away, not looking at him.She felt sad though. He had yelled just because he had gotten in a fight with his brother. She pushed that thought away and thought of the dead rabbit. Had the other rabbit killed it? Or had a cat hunted it and left it? She still looked at Shadewing, her face looking furiouse.

OOC; Just letting you know Shadewing already started walking off so he really isnt paying attention to your facial expressions, that and they wont make much of a difference to him in his current state ^^"

"Alright, that's it," Riverheart snarled, whirling. "You're all a bunch of useless furballs, arguing amongst yourselves when the real enemy is out there. You need to get over it, one of you didn't hear, the other didn't think they cared, blah blah, misunderstanding! Common sense says you both apologize so we can get on with this mission we've been assigned! I'm starting to wonder if I should have spoken up at all." Riverheart's eyes were no longer playful, he was no longer grinning. Those azure eyes of his had gone stone-cold, dead. He was almost snarling, his fur was bristling. "I don't care who you think you are, who you think did the wrong, we're all at fault. So. Get. Over. It. NOW."

"Everyone dies eventually. Once you are born, you begin to die."

"That was not comforting either!"

"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."

"Old man, are you trying to provoke me?"

Scorchpaw stood with Rainheart."He's right. Besides, that's in the past, it doesn't matter right now."she said, knowing that they had to get over their problems fast. "I mean, come on, your brothers. You share the same blood. And you don't have to bottle every problem up like a deadly secret."her eyes shone with fear, but she stood straight. She was not gonna back down. "And... Redstar chose us to work together as a group, not a bunch of whining kits. I may not know much, but I know we don't need to fight like this."she felt nervouse of having said her thoughts out loud. But she fel that they should be spoken.

Shadewing snarled darkly, "Then tell him that! Im already to go. Why dont you all stop lecturing me and move on yourselves!" Shadewing was in no mood to be chastized. He wasnt about ready to let cats about his own tell him to grow up. Shadowpelt was the one that started this and he needed to admit he was wrong. ONce he did Shadewing we put it behind him. Shadowpelt had never once apologized for anything he did. He merely 'put it behind him'. THey just forgot about the transgreshion. Now Shadewing was more then ten fox lengths ahead of the rest of the group and pushing for a faster pace as they stood behind arguing and lecturing.

Shadowpelt continued to sit under the tree. His face felt like it would permanently stay in the scowl it was in for forever. His heart was racing with anger. A little voice spoke. 'Ya know, maybe you overreacted.' He hissed at himself. "Overreact!? HA!" He spat to no one and heard a mouse scuttle around under the bushes as it sought out cover from the hiss. He collapsed his head in his paws letting go of the tension that he felt. Shadewing was right, he was a bully. But he loved the thrill of it! He couldn't help it! But still, what sort of journey was this, a fight with your brother journey, or a journey that would change the life of the forest forever? He grew silent, nearly stopped breathing as he listened. Nothing was around. No one. That's how he usually felt anyway. He sighed and stood up. He hated being alone. No one to tease or anything. He sauntered off in the direction of the group. They probably were already on a move on, but he'd catch up with them when they made camp at the end of the day. If not sooner. His mind began rehearsing apologies. Even though he felt like he shouldn't make it first, he knew he had too.

Scorchpaw saw Shadowpelt catching up and backtracked to be at the same pace. "Listen...if you want to talk to someone...could you talk with me? I know it's non of my buissness, but...I don't want to see you and your brother like this all day."she shrank back, expecting an angry retort like Shadewing had made. She wished she wasn't so scared, but without Bluegaze at her side...she was weak and lonley. It was like a kit with no mother... just as she had been born. She didn't remember it too well, but rememebered what her father had lokked like...and felt even worse. She had no littermates, no family. But at least she had something. "H-how does it feel...to have family?"she asked Shadowpelt uncertainly. A thorn was in her heart, stabbing her at every oportunity. She felt as if her paws were blocks of ice, and trudged next to Shadowpelt with an expression of misery sweeping through her face. She had never felt so alone when others were just padding their light paws beside her heavy muddy and small ones.
