"Shadewing!" Lilyflower screeched. "You.. you little, ignorant.." She took a deep breath, calming herself down. "Shadewing," she said, slowly. "Perhaps both of you are wrong. And because you're the only one 'here'," she waved her tail to indicate 'here', "You're the only one that we can knock some sense into.. right now. So if, IF, you apologize to Shadowpelt and say you're sorry, Shadowpelt just MIGHT apologize to you as well. Because.. apologizing is a hard thing to do. And.. ya'll are both just so mouse-brainly stubborn, none of you dudes are going to apologize."
In an act of desparation, Florestadream said to Lilyflower, "It's no use. When they fight like this nothing can stop them." Even though she said that, Florestadream walked to Shadewing and knocked him down. "I'm older than all of you, and you're going to listen to me," she snarled, paws pinning her brother down roughly. Her eyes were no longer caring or calm, rather vicious and deadly. Looking at Riverheart, she hissed, "Gather Shadowpelt. We're setting off as soon as you two get back." Looking back at her brother, she nodded no sadly and said, "I can't believe you two sometimes, Shadewing." As she got off her brother, she gave him a rough kick and spat in his general direction. Boy, did these cats know how to make Florestadream mad. Looking to Lilyflower, she ordered, slightly calmer, "Get Scorchpaw. And go with Riverheart." Her ears were flat against her head as she stalked away from her brother.

Shadewing hissed after his sister. What was everyone's problem? Why did they have to get in to his and Shadowpelt's buisness? There was no reason for them to try and scold him the way they were doing. They were acting like it was his fault for everything! He hadnt asked for that stupid dream! He didnt ask for Shadowpelt to just walk off in a huff and get offended when he told their sister instead. THey were lecturing him and scolding like he was some bratty little kit had never been anything more. Shadewing stood and watched as Florestadream stalked away. Shadewing bristled dangerously and sat down. He wasnt going to budge. "Im not going."
Lashing around, Florestadream yowled, "Don't get me started, you kit! I will drag your dead body if i have to! Now listen, you're my brother. I love you. But this is my business too. So get your butt off the ground, or you won't be able to speak for the rest of your life!" She stared him down harshly and stalked back towards him. "Not my business?! Huh, well then. Since the bunch of us are gonna be travelling together for many moons, how about we all get along, Shade. Huh?" Her face was in his and she bared her fangs. Claws flexing into the ground, she hissed and towered over him. Tail lashing, she struck out at him once more. "Once Shadowpelt gets back, he's gonna get an earfull, too." Her claws were partially sheathed, so they wouldn't draw blood, but sting. "I hate when you two act like kits! Just because mom and dad aren't around anymore doesn't mean you two have to fight all the time! We're family, thank StarClan! Cherish it!" As he laid on the ground, she still stood there. "Go ahead. Hit me. I don't care. But you're going."

Riverheart shook his head exasperatedly and leaped up into a nearby tree, heading off in the same direction that Shadowpelt had gone. Racing through the trees for a while, he finally spotted the other tom. Crouching in the branch where he was, he decided to leap in front of Shadowpelt, so he couldn't go any further away. Landing softly, Riverheart frowned. "I know part of this is my fault, Shadowpelt, but you need to get over it, both of you, apologize, so we can go on with our mission. The fate of the clans may depend on it. Are you going to sit around moping while your brother terrorizes everyone left back at camp?"

"Everyone dies eventually. Once you are born, you begin to die."
"That was not comforting either!"
"It is the way of the Creed. Usually our deaths are violent but quick."
"Moping?" He spat at Riverheart. "That would be the last thing I do. I wouldn't give that piece of dirt the satisfaction." 'Shadowpelt, weren't you going to apologize anyway?' His own thoughts hit him in the face like a brick wall. His head hung low as did his tail. "I'm going to apologize Riverheart." He spat with his deep voice filling the calm of the trees. "It's whether that mouse brained idiot can accept it or not." His wide eyes looked up at Riverheart and his voice softened, "It wasn't your fault." He muttered.
Scorchpaw had no clue where the others had went. She had seen all of them either go to find Shadewing or Go back to...their temporary camp. She started looking for them. Man, they were fast, and that didn't help her much. She found their scents, but they seemed to have gone off in seapeate pairs or something. Bluegaze had always told her that if she got lost, she should stay put and wait, no matter how long it took. The other cats were either angry, depressed, or something else. She wondered why Redstar had even let her come. She hadn't really been any use, and the others didn't really talk to her. So, she sat and waited. She saw a plump mouse coming by now. Temptation to catch it was in her, but she stayed put. She was going to do what Bluegaze had told her to, even if she wasn't here. She tried to drink in the air, but the wind was blowing away from her, so all she could scent was prey. She sighed and wished that she could just find the others. They had just up and gone with Shadewing.
"Part of it was. But trust me, he'll accept your apology. Or he'll be so stunned that you actually said the words 'I'm sorry' that it'll count as acceptance." Riverheart smiled lightly, teasing Shadowpelt. "C'mon, let's head back, before your sister decides to really shred Shadewing." He butted his friend lightly, and turned back toward camp. "I'd give anything, anything to have a family. And you have one, waiting for you, right there. You don't understand how envious I am," Riverheart murmured, looking at Shadowpelt.

Shadowpelt got a feeling he really hardly ever got, he felt sorry for the cat. Riverheart wanted what he had. Even though he just saw how completely nasty those arguments could actually get. Shadowpelt felt himself shiver. Riverheart had seriously just reached his core. Family really wasn't something to take for granted. He'd never felt so sorry in his life. "Thank you Riverheart." He meowed sincerely.
Lilyflower stood behind Riverheart, listening to his conversation with Shadowpelt, not ready to pipe in. She was typically mad, herself, so she wasn't sure if her comments would be rather 'nice'. Perhaps, deadly, vicious, mean. Anger bubbled up inside of her. Yeah, she saw Shadowpelt and Shadewing fight before, but never THIS viciously. Something was up, definitely. All Lilyflower could think of was that they were stressed out about PantherClan, or not finding enough cats. But what other reason was for there to FIGHT about, especially to your closest family member?
