Shadewing gave his brother a skeptical glance but at the thought of adventure his wild blue eyes lit up. Much like his unknown ancestor he found teh thrill in life endangering situations, so long as he was the only one that could get hurt. The sight of others getting hurt only made him angry and vengeful. He would make the ones that hurt them pay, but it was themselves that had done it he would merely give them the evil eye. Though it wasnt his place to say.
Shadewing lashed his tail side to side, "Did you say adventure?" Shadowpelt always knew just how to excite his brother and get him to do stupid things, by giving the promise of a thrill. They had gotten in to so much trouble as kits because of that but they turned out pretty well. "Then lets get this mission... quest... thing started!"

Shadowpelt let out a hearty laugh, and turned to is sister. "Come on lil' sis! It'll be fun!" We got your back." His eyes glowed with both certainty and laughter. No doubt this was going to be a thrilling adventure. He saw the glow of excitement in his brother's eyes. Their clan leader couldn't have picked a better team. He looked over at Scorchpaw. Why had he asked an apprentice to go though? He shrugged his sturdy shoulders. Everything would work out perfectly.

Scorchpaw stared at SHadowing and Shadowpelt with a smile. She coudln't choose wich one she liked better, but was glad to not have to choose. "Well, why not try the horse place or that abandoned two leg nest? I'm sure we could find someone there."she asked them both, her eyes shining. Bluegaze would be pleased if she completed this task. But what if she coldn't do it? Oh well, if she was assighned to it, then it was to be done. She looked at her paws semiconciousley. How would a loner or rouge react to seeing a weak cat like her? The others were warriors, and there might be another apprentice. Tigerpaw had been coming too right? She looked towards the others.

Shadewing turned toward Scorchpaw, "Thats a good start but we are building an army. Two or three cats will only be like adding a few rain drops to the lake. We need a river of cats rather than a mouthful of water." The black tom shrugged his shoulders, "Im sure the six of us can get thigns done. I mean Redstar wouldnt have picked you, me, Shadewing, Shadowpelt, Florestadream, Riverheart and Lilyflower if he didnt think we could do it... Well then again Riverheart picked me and my siblings so he has enough faith in us. Dont worry Scorchpaw. We will protect you if things get to out of hand." He winked warmly at her before he turned back to Shadowpelt with his excited grin. "I think its about time that we left now."

Giving Florestadream a grin, Lilyflower padded towards Shade and Shadow, the brothers of Florestadream (who would most likely be the 'leader' of the whole group), following behind a couple of steps. She had no plan to start a conversation with them, no plan to talk to anyone else, unless Florestadream replied. Because, being the only 'girl' warrior -- not that she didn't like Scorchpaw, but just because she was much younger than Lilyflower -- other than herself, Florestadream would be a better accompanier than anyone else.. and because of the fact that they actually had 'stuff in common'.

Scorchpaw grinned at him, feeling calmer. "Mabey we should split into two groups?" she asked with an air of doubt. Since they needed an army, they might get the job done sooner if they were in two groups. She walked off with the others, sure that they would succed. She remembered haw disapointed Bluegaze had been, but she had still made the most out of it. Bluegaze was back at camp, and she would be traveling. This would be crazy.

Bluegaze was in the warriors den when she saw the others leave. She sighed. An adventure without her apprentice? She could handle herself right? B;uegaze walked at a brisk trot towards Tiger, who had been rather surprised that he wasn't going. She surpressed a small laugh and sat next to him. Bluegaze knew he was a good apprentice and, hoped that Riverheart would soon give him his warrior name, and started thinking of what suited him. Tigerheart, Tigerstorm,Tigerfang, Tigerpelt, Tigerfur, Tigerwind, Tigercloud... there were so many ideas. But that would be later buisseness."Say, what's your favorite apprentice job?"she asked him."I like fighting or hunting! It's fun!!"he said excitedley.

Tigerpaw looked at the rather unusualy quiet camp, wondering why he hadn't gone with Scorchpaw. He was more experienced, and they were both apprentices, and Lilyflower had gone too! Mabe there was something more important here? A special task? Bluegaze had gone back to the warriors den to rest. He watched as her tail disapeared through the entrance. Redstar was no where to be seen. Tigerpaw decided to go to the fresh kill pile, hoping to find a mouse. THey were tasty. He found one and swallowed it in three gulps, licking his chops.

ooc: i'm not too sure about this, Scorchie, since I didn't make this RP, but since we're on the quest now, Bluegaze wouldn't be played, unless it's needed for an overview at camp, which Ebonycloud would DEFINITELY do (=

Shadowpelt looked over at Scorchpaw as the six padded out of camp. "No, I think we need to stick together, we need to show we're strong and formidable. We can't look weak." His head turned forward and he looked back at the group. Not a bad looking bunch. They'd certainly stand strong. He fell back in step with Florestadream. "What's got ya down sis? Chin up." He brought his tail under her chin and pushed her head up still laughing realizing she wasn't amused, his tail dropped. The only time he'd show sadness is if he upset his older sister. "What's wrong Resta?"

Scorchpaw still smiled, but only just. She move away from Shadowpelt so he could talk with his sister. They needed space. She stayed at the back of the group, and padded silenlently with the others. Pantherclan was still fresh in her mind, or Rainmask was. She kept pace and decided not to talk any more. The black stripes on her tail popped out at her as she looked back. The ground under her pads felt soft. She felt at calm as she watched the others pad together in a cluster. Suddenley, a scent popped out at her and filled her nistriles. It smelled like a cat, but it certainley wasn't from the clans. As they padded o, the scent grew stronger in Shadowwing's direction, then faded to shadowpelt... all through the group, and it hadn't reached her yet. A chill wnet down her spine and she stopped, driking in the air. The scent lingered on the others, and was traveling around them. They were far from camp now, and Scorchpaw felt tense. She tired of walking and sped up, but made sure it didn't look like she was running. Something was spying on them ....or worse!
