Warrior Cats: The Four Clans

ooc: Okay... so we make sure what we do makes sense and do not catch pokemon with out permit, but we are able to run into grunts from team rocket right? I think I got it. Help me out if I got it wrong.

ic: Jen nodded to him as they left. She decided to have a scouting expedition, and to have her Houndor out on the way. She threw out her pokeball, whispering,"All right, hope I got the right one..." and she did. Her Houndor, Inferno, came out of the pokeball. She turned towards the others. "I think I'll go out on a scouting mission. I'll give a shout if I see trouble."Jen told them, giving a wave. Inferno padded alongside her, his face alert and eyes wide. But he grinned. No enemies so far. They walked a while before finding a good scouting point, and they took to a tree. They looked out after climbing up to about the fifth or seventh highest branch, and spotted cerulean gate. The Rocket Gaurds were there, just lazily staring about. Kori and Alieen had passed without a problem.

Jen and Infeno climbed down, but while doing so, Jen spotted something. Two Rocket grunts were headed off in different directions in the forest! Fortunatly, they weren't headed for camp. But their rout was awefully close. They had started to walk under the tree Jen was in, and hadn't seen her. After they were out of sight, she climbed down. "That was close..."she whispered to inferno. But suddenly, one of the Rocket grunts came out from behind a tree. "What was close?" he sneered. But his sneer vanished in an instant. "Wait... your father showed us a picture of you before he died... Your father was a Rocket! What would a person who's the daughter of a Rocket be doing out here?!" he startledly asked. Jen stood there, parylized by fear. But then she straightened up. Her father had been a Rocket Grunt.

The grunt stood as well, and then he frowned. "Your father, he said that you were supposed to go to Rocket training school. But you never were even registered. In fact, you've never set foot in a campus. Aren't you...Jen?" he asked her. She didn't answer. "Ah well. Punishment for not going would be to battle a grunt-me." he sneered. He threw up a pokeball. "Go, Houndor!"he called out as a white beam of light struck out. A Houndor appeared. Her Houndor, Inferno, leapt out from behind her, growling. "Looks like you have the regular Rocket starter."the Grunt sneered. "Lets see if he's any good."

OOC: That's about right, Scorchheart. And tbh this is more of what I was going for -- unpredictability and not having everyone dependent on me. :D
Let's hope it lasts.

IC: "Halt," one of the Rocket guards ordered, as they moved into the middle of the road. Kori and alieen stopped, the former giving them an inquiring stare. "Who are you and what are you doing here?"
"Kori McKlas and Alieen Harrison," Kori responded in as convincing of a tone as he could. "We were hoping to, ah, join with Team Rocket. Heard this city would be a good place to start, since there weren't as many TR members as there are in other cities and that the Team Rocket members here could sue the extra help." He shrugged to emphasize his point.
The grunts surveyed them for several moments, looking the Team Liberty Agents up and down. Finally, they nodded, stepping aside. Kori and Alieen headed into the city.

"Yay for improv," Kori grinned once they were out of earshot. He glanced about the relatively empty street as they walked, noting the lack of happy citizens. "Be on the look-out for the Pokémon Center; they usually have spare rooms."

ic: "Infeno, use ember!" Jen commanded. "Houndor, use tackle!"the rocket grunt commanded. Both pokemon attacked at the same time, but only Jen's attack landed a blow. His Houndor backed away as it was hit with strong ember attacks, unable to tackle Inferno. "Now use quick attack!"Jen commanded, watching the Rocket Grunt's Houndor. "Houndor, use quick attack to get out of there!"the Rocket Grunt called. His Houndor managed to get out in time. "Now use headbutt!" The Rocket Grunt's Houndor did just that. Inferno was knocked down pretty hard, but he managed to stand. "Inferno,use quick attack!"Jen commanded. The Rocket Grunt's Houndor was still recovering from its own attack, and she hit.

Inferno backed off. "Use dig!" Jen called to him. Inferno dug as fast as he could, quickly dissapearing beneath the ground. "Houndor, follow it!"the Rocket shouted. "Inferno, use bite!"jen called. The other Houndor was already in the hole, and Inferno was able to lock his jaws onto it. He slammed the other Houndor to the ground, quickly retreating. THe other one looked exhausted. "Houndor, kick up the dust from the ground!"The Rocket Grunt called. "Inferno, bite the other Houndor's legs!"Jen commanded. Inferno latched his fangs on the other Houndor's legs, not letting go this time.

"Houndor, try to shake him off!"the Rocket grunt called. But his Houndor was too weak to do so. "Inferno, use ember on his legs!" Jen called. Infeno let go for a few seconds and started spitting powerfull and hot fire balls at Houndor. THis kicked up alot of dust, and when it cleared, Inferno was still standing. "Not bad. Let's see how you handle a poison type." the Rocket Grunt said. He threw up another pokeball. "Go, Ekans!"he called. As the white beam of light shot out, a strange, snake like pokemon appeared. It was purple with yellow rings on its lower parts, and had yellow eyes. "Quick, Houndor, return."Jen said, pulling out her pokeball. A red beam of light shot out and Houndor dissapeared. She fished out her other pokeball.
"Go, Thunder!"she called. Her electrik type, Shinx, namedly Thunder, appeared. "Thunder, run up to ekans and use spark!"Jen commanded. Thunder poofed up his fur to make himself look bigger and much more menacing, scaring the ekans a bit. "Ekans, use poison spit!"the rocket grunt called. But Thunder had got there first. He bumped into Ekans with his static fur and then used spark, which shocked ekans. He was being electricuted. "Ekans, use bite!"The Rocket Grunt trid. "Ekans snapped out of it and bit Thunder, causing him to lose all the electricity on his fur just to concentrate on getting ekans off. "Thunder, use Thundershock to get him off!" Jen called. Thunder paused before zapping ekans off of him. Ekans wasn't able to sustain so many electric attacks. He stood there, dazed."Now Ekans, use bite again!" the Rocket grunt commanded. "Ekans weakly clamped its jaws around Thunder's tail. "Thunder, use Thunder Shock again!"Jen called. "Thunder zapped ekans yet again, this time using more power. Ekans fell to the ground, unconciouse.

"Return."the rocket grunt blunty commanded as he took out a pokeball. Ekans dissapeared in a flash of red light. "Go, Coffing!" the rocket grunt called out as another pokemon came out. It looked like two planets stuck together, floating off of the ground by producing a strange gas. "Thunder, return!"Jen called to him. HE was back in the pokeball in a flash of red light. "Go, Blaze!"Jen commanded. In a flash of red light, her Charmander, Blaze, appeared on the battle feild. "Coffing, use smog!" the Rocket Grunt commanded with a smirk. Coffing immediatly started to produce a strange, blackish smoke on the battle feild. It looked poisonouse. "Blaze, smash him down with your tail!" Jen coughed. Blaze seemed to be able to get through the smog, because he slammed something heavy to the ground. But it wasn't coffing. "What the heck-?!"Jen and the Rocket Grunt cried. A natu had appeared, and it was getting rid of the smoke by using gust. It then pirched up in a tree. "Hey you little!" the Rocket Grunt protested. Coffing was dazed. "Coffing, use smog agai-" "Blaze, use headbutt!" Jen called out. Blaze charged at coffing, but seemed weak from the smog. His attack hit though. Jen looked closer. Had the smog actually poisoned him? Charmander was getting weak. "Coffing, use tackle! The Rocket grunt commanded. Coffing hit Blaze hard. He fell to the ground, unconsiouse. Jen quickly picked him up. He did look sick.

Ashley looked over and saw a poke center. She then opened her poketch and dialed Kori's number. "Hello Kori we found a poke center just if you were wondering also I think you mentioned that the pokecenter has a few extra rooms. Call back later ok?" Ashley said then she hung up.
