OOC: Hey, guys, sorry for my temporary absense -- I was busy with the BZP version of this, and so didn't have much time to make any posts here.
Which reminds me -- I want to sincerely thank you for your role-playing styles on The Four Clans. Like, seriously; comparing this to BZPower, even though that version is more active and has more people, I honestly prefer you guys' relaxed, carefree, go-with-the-flow attitude towards role-playing to the majority of those on BZPower -- having people constantly badgering you about "Can I catch this Pokémon and this one and this one and this one nownownow!?!?", acting all high and mighty, talking as if they were better than you and completely hellbent on battling and evolving, treating the RPG like the video games as opposed to treating it like its own separate story REALLY gets tiring after a while. I love you guys like siblings. Never forget that, no matter what I may say or do, as I don't think I'd still be around this world without you. So again, thank you.
IC: "I'd be up for a practice match," Kori shrugged, placing his hands in his pockets. "Don't know if any of you would be itnerested, but I think it would be a greta way to test out my new Gligar." He grabbed Ruaki's Pokéball, spinning in on the tip of his finger. He smiled, both playfully and smugly.
ooc: Awe~thanks. you guys here are like the brothers and sisters I never had. And I mean that too. THanks wyvern. I can't say much more, other than this:I'd be a mess without you guys. ^_^
ic: Jen looked up and walked over. "Sure, I'll take you on." she said with a grin, taking out her pokeballs and returning her pokemon. SHe held them, ready for a fight. "I'd like to see just how strong my pokemon got." she said with a smile. The only one out of the pokeball was Inferno, who stood by her sid with a grin. He looked Kori up and down. Maybe this would be a good chance for a fight.
IC: Kori grinned again. "Alright," he said. He flipped his hand, catching the PokéBall he had been spinning a moment before. He lokoed around, finding a good spot to battle. "Over here!" He ran towards it, skidding to a stop and turning to face Jen. He pressed the button in the center of the ball, tossing it into the air. Magnemite appeared, magnets spinning. "What do you say to a full on match -- four Pokémon each?"
"sure!" Jen laughed, racing over and tossing up her pokeball. "Alrighty then, let's see how e do now!" she giggled. Thunder popped out in a flash of white, his fur tingling with anticipation. She grinned. She wouldn't mind losing-it would teach her, just as she had lost last time. But this time she would see what happened if it was ShinX vs. Magnemite. In the first battle, it had been Inferno.
OOC: Sorry I've been absent guys. My laptop is currently infected with a virus and I've got lab finals to do. When all thats done, I'll be back in business.
ooc; alright since now i feel like a complete butt for just uping and leaving again with no prelude or whatnot, i'll just come out and apologize now:
i can't even say that life was being particularly busy, because it wasn't--not at the moment i ditched, anyway. i was just particularly fed up with life in general and didn't have the patience to sit down and read and type to something i just wasn't feeling it. i wasn't in a happy dappy rainbow ponies and unicorns mood, either. when i get into a mood, it takes forever for me to come out, and i just act irrationally until something random puts me into a good mood. often times these few happy moments are just pwnt by life being crappy in general and can extend my black mood for weeks.
i'm still not out of it and just pretty angry at everything, but enough time's passed for me to realize that that was a pretty rude thing to do.
and so while that isn't an excuse for what i did (by joining i agreed that i wouldn't up and leave but i did it anyway), it is an explaination :/
OOC: Sorry for my total lack of posts for like... a while. D: I was busy with homeschool junk and my best friends own my weekends. >__>;;
IC: Hikari walked out to where the battlers were. She'd let her Pokemon watch this match, even if she was itching to get out and fight herself. However, she noticed that most of these agents had one more Pokemon than she did... Shrugging mentally, she took out her notepad and got ready to take notes on the competitive strategies that she might could use in the future. Hikari always looked on the intelligent, rational side of things instead of going by her gut instinct, but she could rely on instinct when she had to.
