Duskstar sent the tom beneath her running into the bushes, and she turned and leaped at Eaglescar, who was yowling in rage at Scorchheart. "You don't belong here, leave!"
"So the blind leader runs to help her runts, eh?" he sneered back, obviously hoping for a reaction. Duskstar raised an eyebrow in calm mocking of his absurdity, and grinned.
"I can see better than you, I don't have to rely on my eyes!" Raising a paw and clawing straight across his forehead, allowing the blood to drip into his eyes and blind him, she pummeled his belly with her hindpaws. "Let's see how you like being blind!" She could feel exactly where he was beneath her, although the rest of the world was slightly muffled; fur did not absorb vibrations well.

Scorchheart leapt at Eaglescar again, hitting his head. He fell back, but got back up."So-you think I can't kill you and your leader?" he smirked. Scorchheart hissed and clamped her jaws around his throat. But it did nothing. She hung from it as he calmly walked over to Duskstar, wincing at Jaggedpine's blows. "Get off you little-" he tried. Scorchheart bit harder and was on his wind-pipes. He wasn't going to get away with this.

Jaggedpine jumped onto Eaglescar's back and clenched his teeth into his shoulder blade. The hugs cat tossed him off like he was a leaf, but then tried clawing the blood from his eyes. He started running around frantically when he ealized he couldn't see. Scorchheart was shaken off. Jaggedpine watched in amusement as the big cat ran around scared.

Scorchheart looked at Eaglescar. He was pretty stupid right then. She leapt back onto his tail, biting it hard. He cried out. "GAAAAAAHHHHH! Why you little!" she leapt away from his paw swipes. SHe saw that his front paw was open-and leapt at it. She sank her teeth deep n, causing him to whimper.

Jaggedpine burst out laughing and slashed Eaglescar's side. He was an idiot! The deputy turned to Duskstar. Then, a weight hit him from his shulders, and something was on top of him. Another cat! The scent he had picked up from Gloryflight now encased him. "You hurt Flashnose!" she hissed his his ear, her hot breath ruffling Jaggedpine's pelt. He summoned all of his strength and stood. Gloryflight fell to the side, and Jaggedpine scraped his claws along her flank. He then felt claws stabbing into him, and he was dragged ho his side. He looked up. A big warrior, not as big as Eaglescar though, was on top of him. Gloryflight skittered away.

Scorchheart turned without fear and faced the warrior. SHe leapt at his back. "Don't touch him you lumux!" she cried. She bit into his hind leg and scratched out at his eyes. "Try that on for size!" she roared. SHe was so not a happy camper at the time. SHe jumped off of him and smacked his face, claws tearing at his nose.

Jaggedpine nraced from under the cat, when he heard a deep voice yowling, "Retreat!" Jaggedpine felt pride sweel inside him. ShadowClan cats darted for the border and into their territory. Eaglescar scrambled along toward it, but slammed into a tree and fell onto his side. Jaggedpine scratched his side before he could stand and keep going. Jaggedpine turned back to his clan. They were pretty scratched up, but no one was dying or too severely injured.

Scorchheart heaved a sigh of releif. "Glad that's over." she chuckled. She walked over to Duskstar and Jaggedpine."Where's Paintedleaf?" she asked, looking around. SHe saw Paintedleaf, still stunnedfrom Eaglescar's attack. "COme on; he didn't hurt ou that much." Scorchheart laughed. "At least they left-I don't think I could have kept fighting." she giggled.

Jaggedpine followed Scorchheart's eyes with his own and saw Paintedleaf. He looked back to Duskstar. "We need to get these cats out of here and back to the camp so they can be treated," he said, waving his tail for the ThunderClan cats to gather. He turned and saw that his flank was torn open. It wasn't too deep, and he thought that he would be okay for a while, at least until they reached the camp.

Scorchheart gave a nod, but saw Jaggedpine's flank. SHe looked around, seeing some ferns, and walked over, findingcobwebs. she wrapped them thickly around her paw and brought them over. "You okay?" she asked, applying htem to the wound. Just because she was a warrior didn't mean she couldn't have know how to heal.
