Aiyanna watched him walk pass the other wolves and smiled. 'Thank the heaven he didn't make a meal of them.' she thought to herself. Laughing softly she left the healers den and fell inline beside him him. "Riddle me this," she began looking up at his eyes "Why is it that you can keep your temper in check around me but not around the others. They didn't mean any harm they were just fooling around." she said. In truth she would have liked to rip the two a new one but she kept her anger in check and smiled a little wider.

Kodiak placed the herbs on the ground and shrugged, looking at Aiyanna. "Cause if I lose my temper around you I might go off on you too and then I'll get my ears clawed of." He laughed and looked toward the two wolves. "I knew they were just playing around I just cant help myself sometimes." Lifting his shoulders up in a I dont know sort of way Kodiak smiled at Aiyanna again and sat down next to her.

Aiyanna laughed and then sat down wrapping her tail around her like a cat. "If I were you I would have went off on me the first day you met me but now you're stuck with me." her voice was light and floaty and her blue eyes bright and loving as usual. Her side was hurting her slightly but it wasn't terrible so she didn't feel like she should mention it and make a scene about it.

Kodiak gave a light chuckle and rolled his eyes playfully. "Lucky me!" Swishing his tail back and forth he leaned on Aiyanna and looked at her soft white fur. Licking under her chin he smiled and gave out a yawn. "Your fur is as soft as bedding." he barked and closed his eyes.

"Why thank you. I try." she told him yawning softly. "I wonder when we will be leaving" she layed down on a rock in the sun and sighed happily. "I'm ready to get a move on. Although, I wish I wasn't hurt so I could be more help. I feel like a bother not being able to fly and all." Even though she was smiling it didn't reach her eyes that well. If you knew her well enough you could tell it was bothering her.

Kodiak walked to the other side of the rock and layed his head on the warm stone. "Your not a bother. And dont even worry about anything when your wound heals I'll tell Rach and Cloudandis to make you work overtime." Kodiak laughed alittle and licked Aiyanna between the ears sothingly.

Aiyanna was thankful for his company "On second though maybe I should milk this for all it's worth. Get as much special attention as I can." she told him giggling when he licked her. She felt like a foolish girl for giggling but she couldn't help it. "I mean I might as well soak it up while I can. You know what I mean?" she was totally kidding about soakingup the special attention because she would love to be running around and playing but she couldn't.

Kodiak laughed and nodded in agreement. "You better soak it up cause when that thing heals your going to be the one helping ME out and giving me massages." Laughing Kodiak walked around the rock and layed infront of Aiyanna. Laying his head on his paws he gave a small smile. "We should be off and traveling soon." he barked and turned on his back to stretch.

Tennsock heard a resounding howle in the distance, and saw Cloudandis flying back. "HEY CLOUDANDIS!!!" he laughed, Nami smiling as she flew down. Cloudandis gave them a nod, not trully smiling. She had told Rach and the potehrs to finish looking for the ever elusive Sinner Alpha, Crome. "How's everything?" she asked. Her tone was cracked, almost as if in pain, though she wasn't. She felt terrable about all this happening at once. Seeing Kodiac and Aiyanna, she gave them a reasurring smile to assure them that they didn't need to be at attention or anything, and walked over to Tennsock. "Listen, while Rach and the others are traveling, we need a scout. Can you fill that position?" she asked in her old blank tone. "Yes ma'am." Tennsock answered. He flew off.
