Cali sat down in her usual spot and watched Dempsey. She had a million thoughts in her head and they were driving her crazy. All the thought about her mother she pushed back into the little box in the back her mind reserved just fro Azura. Now she had thoughts of her bestfriend, the noises, and Roan.

Dempsey walked to the spot and layed down, dropping the raccoon. Shaking his head to get the fur in his mouth out he sneezed and took a bite of the raccoon. Eating the piece quickly he looked to Cali and tilted his head. "You ok?" The wolf looked like she was thinking about something. "Are you sure you dont want a piece?" He motioned with his paw to the raccoon incase it was the food she was thinking of.

Cali looked at him and smiled "I'm fine. Thanks though." she told him and looked at him for moment and then looked down at her blonde paws. The closer you got to her paws the lighter her fur became. Where toes were it was silvery white and she then she thought about why all wolves weren't the same color. "How come we aren't all the same color?" she asked Dempsey.

Dempsey took another bite of his raccoon and looked at Cali. Tilting his head he ate the piece and laughed. "Maybe since our ancestors come from different places are pelts are different to help out in our homes. Like stalking. You wouldn't see a black wolf in a place were there's always snow. It'll be difficult to catch anything" Dempsey nodded like that was the answer. His father had told him that. He learned alot of things from his father and thought they were all true unless there was some proof disagreeing with him. "Anymore random questions?" he laughed and began finishing the raccoon.

Starcross sat, huddled in the corner, thinking about the humans and their attack earlier this day [ i'm assuming that it's the same day ; correct me if i'm wrong ]. It must've been planned. They must've known that the wolves were going to fight them off. How else would they use those huge monsters to attack right at the exact moment they got near? She shook her head. Starcross knew Guntur was looking for her, but she wanted to be left alone for the time being.

Ooc: Okay...hold on.....so you were with the patrol that went out to patrol the border, but when they got there a human things started up and began moving into the forest. I think the patrol is running back now, but you can maybe be standing there, watching, or whatever you want to do...
I'm just a little confused...

"So that makes you a ninja and me a snowman?" she asked getting back to her normal self and pushing away her thoughts for now. Looking at Dempsey she gave him a smile and then layed down really wanting to pop her shoulder but not wanting to make Dempsey cringe again. When she walked you could hear it catching and rubbing.

Dempsey rolled his eyes and laughed. "Yea Cali. Im a ninja and your a snowman." He stretched his front paws and felt abit restless now that he ate. Rolling over on his back he stretched again and rolled back onto his stomach. "So are we going to sleep all day or are we going to do something fun for a change?" The wolf laughed and dug his claws in the ground feeling his body tense. He needed to walk or something to get the energy out of him.
