Dempsey laughed and looked at her. "Yea. I think you are." He smiled but it quickly turned into a frown when his ear started to burn again. He stopped and closed his eyes for a moment. "I think we should get back to camp. I need to get this checked out or something." He gritted his teeth and opened his eyes again.

"Come on then" she said sadly. Cali felt like it was all her fault he was in pain since it was her idea and plus she wouldn't go when he said so he had to spend time waiting on her. "If we had just stayed put or if I started running like a normal wolf maybe you wouldn't be in this situation." she told him soflty.

Dempsey turned in the direction of the camp and shook his head. "Don't blame yourself. It was that dumb humans fault ot yours." He growled alittle from the pain but stopped and walked alittle faster toward the camp. "Say it was your fault again and I'll bite your ear off." He laughed so he would be distracted from the pain.

"Haven't I already taught you your lesson? I'm faster and plus you're crippled. I could take you eaisly." she said teasingly. Cali smiled at him and matched his pace as they made their way back to the camp.

Dempsey smiled and rolled his eyes. "You always cheat though! If Im not crippled your somehow tricking me." He laughed and looked ahead to see the camp. Flicking his tail at her face to block her view he laughed feeling comfortable again like this morning. He kept his tail in her face and looked back at her smiling.

Cali chomped down on his tail gently keeping her tongue away from his tail so she wouldn't have to hurl again. She gave him a smug look while she held on to his tail. A funny sound escaped her that was supposed to be a laugh.

Dempsey narrowed his eyes and stopped walking. "The weird thing is I didnt expect that." He laughed and laughed even harder when he heard the sound she made. "What was that?" He barked and put his paw on her nose covering up her nostrils. "Now let go." he smiled and waited for her to do something.

She gave him an 'Excuse me?' look and she tried to look threatening with a mouthful of Dempsey's tail. Cali was defiant as she pulled ahead of him giving him two choice one) get your tail eaten off of two) turn around and walk backwards.

Dempsey almost fell when she pulled him. He began walking backwards and gave a huff. "This is just great." He barked and lifted an eyebrow getting an idea. He quickly turned around and grabbed Cali's tail in his mouth. He gave a quick growl to tell her and narrowed his eyes challengling.
