Dempsey looked at Cali and blinked before following her. Walking on the side of her he didnt want to see Roan or even Guntur right now. Looking at Cali's shoulder he could see it was bleeding. Moving his head to it he licked it as softly as he could without hurting her then looked forward.

Cali pulled away and cleared her throat. "Don't get all soft on me now Dempsey my boy." she said trying make it sound like nothing was wrong. The geasture touched her but she wasn't loosing anymore face. She shook the tears away and looked at him. "I don't need you acting like my m-dad. Iight?" Thoughts of her mom came back to her and that made her want to break down and cry for hours. All her mom ever wanted for her was power and she couldn't even do that for her and now it was too late. She was dead.

Dempsey could hear Cali struggling in her voice. Giving a short laugh to make sure she didnt know he knew something was wrong, the male wolf nodded. "Iight." he copied her and smiled. "Just making sure you dont collapse on me from blood loss." he exagerated and looked to the blonde wolf's shoulder again. He kept himself from licking it and looked to the ground.

Cali looked at him "Thanks though" she half coughed it and mumbled it so she could cover i up if he didn't hear her the first time. The picture of the blonde she-wolf was stuck in her head and she couldn't sake it. All she wanted was to lounge around and let life pass her by and that's all. SHe had DEmpsey her bestfriend and full stomache and the sun was shining. What more could she want?

Dempsey heard the wolf and smiled. "No problem." he barked and looked to her cut again. It still had a little bit of blood on it and it bothered the wolf. "Can I just finish licking it, please?" he looked at her and laughed then stuck his tongue out. "Its calling to me." he smiled and looked at Cali.

Guntur still stood in the den while Roan, Starcross, and three other strong wolves left. He sighed. The young hunters from earlier, Dempsey and Cali, were obviously very mad at him and Roan right now. Well, Roan was furious at them too, and Guntur was mad at Roan. He walked out of the Alpha's den and curled up in between the pack's cave and Roan's den.

Cali debated for a moment and decided against it. "I can get it later." she said even though she wouldn't be able to unless she was part owl and she knew it. The blonde wolf sped up slightly causing Dempsey to be behind her as she half walked half jogged through the woods. She hadn't even been lookin for any type of prey and she didn't plan on it. Roan was out of line.

Dempsey rolled his eyes and jogged to catch up with Cali. "Fine. I hope it gets infected too." He barked and stared at her with narrowed eyes although his eyes were bright showing he was only playing. Trying not to pay attention to the cut he watched the sky and let his paws carry him along.

"It would be a blessing to not have to dela with Roan everyday. See this is why I sleep all day everyday. So I don't have to deal with his sorry butt. He's a poor excuse for a leader and poorer excuse for a wolf. He sould be the one exiled not us." she said fiercly. Cali's shoulder was catching so she had to stop and stretch. It made a loud pop and sounded terribly painful but it actually felt good. Smiling she moved it around and went on about her business.

Roan led the patrol to where Guntur had said the human things were. Strangely, the patrol ran right into Cali and Dempsey. Roan growled. "At least you two are hunting," he growled. He brought the patrol around them. Fear was beginning to build up inside of him. What if the human things attacked his pack? He shuddered to think of what might happen.
