Ooc: Oh, sorry, I didn't notice that Cliffheart would have been talking to nobody right there haha

Ic: Cliffheart awoke to a sound in the den. He raised his head and growled, just to see Nightfang leaving the den and a disgruntled apprentice named Tigerpaw rolling over in his nest. Cliffheart stood and padded out of the den, mumbling to himself. He was exhausted from the past few days. Stormfoot trotted to meet the young tom, which surprised him. Stormfoot would usually leap out of nowhere right when he came out of the den. Cliffheart puffed out his chest and sized up his mentor. He hadn't the slightest bit of respect for the older tom, who was the typical TigerClan cat.
"We're going out into the territory today," Stormfoot grumbled. Cliffheart just nodded. He was relieved that this day didn't have to start with a battle. The large gray tom led his apprentice out of the camp and into the watery landscape. Cliffheart and his mentor were about evenly matched in strength, and that was with the chocolate tom's injured paw (that had never gotten the chance to heal). Cliffheart could only imagine how much greater than Stormfoot he would be if he was in tip-top shape.

OOC: I'd be a creeper when it came to Nightfang as well. She's a hottie! xD hahahaha. kidding. but, seriously. ;)

Gingerpaw stretched and made her way out of the den, purposefully scuffing up moss on top of Tigerpaw. She couldn't understand the point of being meaninglessly rude to anyone. Besides, Tigerpaw was always such a stupid furball. She stopped just outside of the den and gave a small smile to Nightfang. She'd never really had a chance to talk with her over the past week, with Whitewhisker making her train pretty much all hours of the day, but she liked Nightfang's courage. She admired it. "Sorry about Tigerpaw. He doesn't know how to get up on the right side of the moss. The again, I'm not sure his moss has a right side." She shrugged with a purr of amusement. She hoped Nightfang wouldn't feel awkward conversing with Gingerpaw, Nightfang had no idea that she knew what they were doing here. She kept her promise to her mentor and not told a soul. Even though she desperately wanted to tell Skypaw, who was her best friend. But she'd have to ask permission from Fawntail first.

Her nest sturred as the she cat with sat up, blinking her beautiful gentle eyes into the dark. She yawned daintilly, showing her perfect ivory teeth. Her eyes seemed to be staring at nothing because the she-cat was still dabbling in the deep realms of dreams. What delicious irony that those nightmares that she had kept coming true every waking minute. But, the nightmare's kept the smallest spark of hope burning inside her, for after all, the existence of worse circumstances made it possible to be somewhat thankful of the current situation.

However, her past few hours of rest had consisted of a scene so delightful she was sure it couldn't exist. Quiet, sunny, wildflower meadows were naught but an object of fantasy. Sighing, Petaldancer relished in the lingering effects of the dream before swiftly locking it away in her head where it would never be disturbed. Reluctantly, the marbled she-cat started to stretch, her bones creaking in protest. The training she was so much tougher than she had realized.  She watched with a fair amount of observance at the little spat going on between Nightfang and Tigerpaw, her azule eyes held a look of pure amusement.

Training was going well, both parties were reciving more battle scars everyday. More Sunheart than her, but Petaldancer was exausted, both mentally and physical.

OOC: Oh Goldie! You're so funny!! XD

Nightfang ignored Bearfur's last comment, intent on cleaning her fur. When Gingerpaw spoke to her she was indeed a little shocked. She quirked her head to the side as the young apprentice conversed with her. A smile warm smile tugged at the corner's of her gray muzzle, "Meh, I won't worry about the little squirt. He'll have to learn to deal with me." She winked at the younger she-cat. Nightfang was secretly glad that there was someone here that wasn't a total jerk. Before she could say anything else though she thought about what Kestreleye had shouted at Whitewhisker. Her new mentor was surely doing his best to mentally scar her. With a shrug she turned back to the camp, "Well... Just another day in Tigerclan."

OOC: xD

Gingerpaw smiled. Yea, just another day. She thought to herself. It must be difficult for these cats, coming from a place like Lionclan to a place like Tigerclan. She'd only heard other cats talk about how Lionclan was. And she was certainly jealous. The only affection she was ever shown was from Fawntail and Skypaw. And even then, it was still different. "You get used to it. The hate. The fighting. The constant smell of blood..." Her voice trailed off. No, that was a lie. She'd lived here for 9 moons and she still wasn't used to it. She still couldn't get used to the hate that filled these cats heart. Or the fact if she showed the slightest bit of fear or cowardice, she was met with angry words. She wasn't very popular in Tigerclan, because she couldn't be cold or hostile towards anyone. It wasn't in her heart to do so. And because of this, she was looked down on. She hoped that whatever these cats were planning, how all of this was going to go down, she just hoped it would be soon. It was time for a change.

Cliffheart and Stormfoot reached their destination, a small, clear, dip in the ground. Without a second-thought, Stormfoot whirled around and struck at Cliffheart with even more intensity than before. This must be him making up for not attacking this morning. Cliffheart had gotten used to surprise attacks, and he rushed to meet his mentor. Suddenly, they locked together, wrestling, spitting, and yowling. Cliffheart knocked his mentor off him for a moment, bounded to his paws, and slammed into Stormfoot's side with his head, sending his a ways away. Cliffheart just leaped again, this time pinning his mentor to the ground. Stormfoot was bigger than Cliffheart, but the chocolate tom had figured out how he could keep as much weight as possible on the larger tom to keep him down.
"A little off your game, Stormfoot?" he laughed.

She walked lazily, as if her sleepiness was weighing her down like bricks. She shook a few scraps of moss from her fur and yawned. "What happened to the days when I could wake up whenever I wanted to and not have to worry about messing things up?"  she muttered to Nightfang as she padded outside with her. A jagged scar dug at her sholder as the pain surfaced again, clawing at the wound and pounding at it. Though it had somewhat disapeared, and the blood had long dried, the pain from it was still as if it was just afflicted.

Petaldancer felt like a feeble, grizzled elder with her screaming joints and aching sides, she swore her pelt was already turning silver. But there wasn't much she could do about it, so she didn't bother complaining - but who was there to complain to anyway? Herself? Well, that's an idea. She mewed towards Nightfang,  "I appologize, I got up on the wrong side of the moss. So, let me rephrase my self. Good morning." Her eyes turned towards her clanmate.

Nightfang let out a soft chuckle in reply. She glanced sideways at the beautiful she-cat, inwardly jealous of her overflowing good looks. The thing that bothered Nightfang was that she knew Petaldancer knew about her looks. From what Nightfang could tell, she used it to her advantage when she could. Envy flowed in the dark tabby for a moment before she looked away, "Yeah, no kidding and good morning to you as well." She curled her tail around her paws, though not making herself comfortable. Soon enough Whitewhisker would call her over to go train. A shiver ran down the she-cat's spin at the thought of having to spar with the twisted white warrior.

Thunderstep emerged from his place in the warrior's den, his green eyes flicking around the camp. He noted that just about everyone was up and it was about time that he set out to do his duty in the clan. He waved a friendly tail toward Bearfur, Petaldancer, Nightfang and Gingerpaw. Turning his eyes toward Darkstar's den, he felt a deep seated hate fill his belly. He would show his father what Lionclan was capable of. His knew clan was full of strong, noble warriors. He would show them all just what it meant to follow the code.

Petaldancer mouth turned up in a slight grin, but it ended as the warriors started to wake. Suddenly, her pointed ears lay flat against her head, the frustration and anxiety kicking in. The training, it was always a examination on her patience and her struggle to top her mentor. The strength she had built up during her duration at LionClan was already starting to slip away and the dread was starting to settle in at an accelerated pace. She saw the sleek pelt of Thunderstep appear out of the den, he waving his tail in a quiet hello. This resured her soul, in away. It seemed as if their was always a light in the midst of darkness, even if it terrified her. As her eyes caught glimpses of the golden menace starting to awake, it was almost as if the wind had been knocked out of her. She turned her eyes away from the disapointing sight, wishing ever so much to be at LionClan again. Petaldancer gave a short murmer, "And the terror resumes."

Cliffheart's powerful legs pumped hard and his heart raced. He could hear his mentor just a bound behind him. Stormfoot had challenged his to a race back to camp, and Cliffheart knew he could win. Stormfoot was huge and strong, but he seemed a little big to be fast. But, the older tom held his own. Cliffheart wasn't used to this kind of terrain. It was wet and slippery, and he kept sliding down slopes. Eventually, he burst into camp, panting hard, and Stormfoot bowled in after him, slamming into his apprentice. The two cats began to wrestle. Stormfoot had his claws unsheathed, and Cliffheart wondered what would happen if he did the same...He felt his claws barely break Stormfoot's skin across his shoulder, but he didn't feel bad. His mentor deserved it. Finally, they broke up the fight, both scarred and bleeding.
Cliffheart looked over to see his clanmates, all going about their business. Cliffheart wasn't a violent warrior. He didn't like to fight, and using claws against his clanmates was unheard of for him. When he saw the gleam of blood on his claws, though, Cliffheart began to tense up. All the TigerClan cats used their claws, so he didn't know why he felt so bad...But fighting with his claws actually almost felt...good
