Ooc: Sorry ebbs. XD I was like doing night hunting. Awkward

Wolfheart slowly crept up on it. Suddenly the mouse looked up, aware of her appearance and ran over through the roots. "Mouse d-" Wolfheart stopped. Then she heard it. "Yet as soon as I said that Rainfall attacked me. He pinned me to the ground and I didn't resist. I looked up in to his eyes, wishing to see the tom I loved but the cat I saw was not him. I didn't know this part of Rainfall. He looked resentful of my very presence. He was disgusted at the sight of me. I grew afraid as he pressed me to the ground. I had gotten a look at the she-cat he had talked to and she only looked amused at what he was doing." She gulped. If Nightfang and Bearfur thought she was eavesdropping she would be in big trouble. She decided that she would show herself and try her best to not get mad at. "Hi guys." she said timidly. "How's it goin?"

Nightfang whirled around when Wolfheart appeared behind them. First a look of panic took over her face, then a sheer look of rage. "Wolfheart!" she hissed. Great, now she wouldn't be able to talk to Bearfur any longer. Her eyes narrowed at the other she-cat. How much had she heard? Resentment began to boil within her toward the gray warrior. "What are you doing out here at night? Don't you know that Darkstar has a curfew? Did Thunderstep let you out of the camp?" She would kill that tom for this. This was supposed to be a nice private conversation between Bearfur and herself, not she had to worry if this she-cat had learned her darkest of secrets.
She bristled at Wolfheart and turned to Bearfur, "I'm sorry... I have to go." She said nothing more as she moved away from his side, it killed her inside to do so. As she passed Wolfheart she shoved her shoulder in to the other she-cat's. "Mind you own business next time." It wasn't that Nightfang hated Wolfheart, she hated the idea that someone had listened to what she had only wanted Bearfur to hear.

Bearfur watched helplessly as Nightfang stalked off, each step extremely aggressive. Eyeing Wolfheart, he gave her a rather irritated look. "Eavesdropping is frowned upon. Especially when it is a conversation of your superior." Raising an eyebrow in questioning, he continued. "What are you doing out here anyways, Wolfheart? I expected more of you. Get back to camp and sleep on it. It's dangerous. The time is close and you're risking your life already. I've gained the favor of Darkstar, but everyone else still has his wary eye upon them." Sighing, he looked to where Nightfang had stalked off to. Nodding his head slowly, he stood and turned away. "Return to camp, Wolfheart. And be sure to never, under any circumstances, eavesdrop or sneak out of camp again. Understood?" With the she-cat's simple, nervous nod, the tom padded off in hopes of sleep. But Nightfang's feeble expressions were tattooed onto his eye lids. Nightfang. If only I knew.

OOC; Lets skip a short while ;D About... Meh, a week or so. Just before noon ^^ At night is when the "blood" moon will happen, so tonight is the night of the invasion for those who haven't been keeping up.

IC:

Nightfang had been buzzing about the camp to fulfill the orders of her "superiors" all day. Her paws ached and her pelt didn't gleam in the sun shine. She hadn't had anytime to groom herself since the night she had snuck out to talk to Bearfur. In fact, she hadn't had any time to talk to him privately either. Tension had risen within the camp. Darkstar kept to himself inside his den, the sentinels were run through their daily training, the guardians patrolled the territory and the footman were run ragged with hunting and various other duties. With everyone on edge, the servants were made to do all the annoying chores that no one wanted. As it was Nightfang was on her way to the medicine cat den to drop off a few pieces of prey for Jumpingfox and Darkwhisker. As she approached she heard the older tom muttering to himself. She barely made out the whispers but she did hear, "Tonight... Tonight... Tonight!" Nightfang entered the den and dropped the prey, to nervous to ask him what he meant.

Eyes widened to the brink by exaustion, the jovial expression on Petaldancer's jowls had been replaced by a look of nervious tension, her usually technicollored artistic coat was ripped to pieces by the raw scabs that covered most of her sholder and right side.  In the hours before, Petaldancer had been put through the usually tortures "daily routines" that were given to prepare the sentinels for battle that was to come sooner or later.  As the she-cat lucidly watched the bustling camp she noticed that many were pacing and nerviously talking to themselves. In theroy, she was as terrified as any other cat, but she felt confident in her own abilities to protect herself and her clanmates. Her ears suddenly pricked to the sound of happy childish squeals coming from the nursery, the sound of pure goodness. As if it were yesterday, the feeling of comfort and love washed over Petaldancer, her thoughts turning toward the sense of family. That was something she wanted, a mate and kits to spoil and call her own. Maybe it would happen. Maybe it wouldn't, but thinking into the future was a way to provide herself something to believe in. She didn't want to miss anything.

Thunderstep moved across the camp, his green eyes darting between each of the warriors as they exhausted themselves with training. His thick coat had been torn in many places with the training the guardians received but it was no where near as bad as the sentinels. A frown pressed on his lips as he moved by a few cats and their chatter. His father was in his den as usual, planning his attack. The so called "blood" moon had yet to appear, making everyone even that more frantic for the attack. His eyes caught site of Petaldancer, her beautiful pelt patched with scars and scabs. He tilted his head to the side as he moved toward her, "You alright?" He lifted a brow in question as well.

Cliffheart had been expressionless almost all day. He'd been fighting so much in the past few days that his paws hurt and his head was about to burst. Tonight was the blood moon, the night when everything they'd worked for would emerge. Thoughts ranted through his head, beating like drums. Gotta waen LionClan. Somehow. Gotta keep Nightfang and the rest of the patrol safe. Somehow. Gotta talk to the patrol before tonight. Somehow. Gotta wipe this grimace off my face. Somehow. The brown tom finally found some down time. He wanted to speak to his patrol, or at least every member if he couldn't get them together. He was responsible for all of this. He'd gotten them into the biggest mess of their lives, and it was vital that he get them out. Alive. Somehow. He spotted Nightfang, carrying some prey to the medicine cat den. She would be easy to talk to. He was a Sentinel. She had to listen to him. "Nightfang, over here!" he called.

A caring voice gently inturrupted her thoughts, bringing her back to reality, her eyes turned up to look into the face of Thunderstep.  She gave a genuine smile of friendliness and replied to the question,"Yes, I'm quite alright.  I was just thinking, if I do make it out of here, I want to start a family with someone.  Someone who sees me for more than just a pretty face, you know?"

Nightfang's ears perked when Cliffheart called out her name. She glanced in his direction for a moment, questions in her eyes. However she did as she was told and trotted over to him. "Yes Cliffheart... sir... Is there anything I can help you with?" she glanced sideways as Sharpfang and Rumblestripe passed her by. They looked at her once each and moved on. Talking to Cliffheart might be dangerous, she certainly hoped he would make this quick.

Thunderstep's face softened for a moment, "I'm sure you'll find someone." He mouth quirked in to a smile, "You're a wonderful she-cat. Whoever steals your heart will be one lucky tom." The golden-brown tabby sat down before her, his friendly smile still on his face. "I'm just glad Darkstar hasn't pushed you to hard," the anger he held toward his father couldn't help but show itself in his eyes. He turned his face away from Petaldancer, attempting to regain his control. "Starclan knows that we all want to make it out alive... Start families of our own," a hint of sadness pervaded his voice. He had caught sight of his sister moving on the other side of camp. "Start own... Perhaps regain those we have lost..." After a moment of thought he caught himself and turned back to her. "Sorry," he chuckled, "I don't mean to burden you with my musings."
