Feeling completely useless, Valerie had perched herself in a seat with a table in front of her, staring at the wall. Nothing about technology interested her. For the most part, she found it extremely unnecessary, minus the radios and cars. Folding her arms on the table in front of her, she stared, unblinking, at her arms. She didn't think, didn't speak, didn't move. She just sat there, silent. When she had no access to computers Valerie had wrote things with her hands in a neat script - a neat script that was unnecessary for her to know. With technology all the things she could do so well with her quick, nimble fingers was labeled obsolete and she absolutely detested that. Which was one of the many reasons she disliked technology. She supposed that she also disliked it because it was becoming so human so fast. Though maybe it was fear acting in place of hate for her.

ooc; tell me if anything was wrong... >.> i'm sorry for my absence... i just had an audition (which i failed) and i was stressing over it.

OOC: Just to let everyone know, I am booting Woodfall out of the RP. She has yet to even make her first post. So instead of opening up the RP for someone else to enter, I will do something else instead. I will be playing a second character in order to replace her. I won't enter the character for a little while so it will be a surprise ;D

IC:
William watched as the sky zoomed by, the land beneath them a blurr. The man relaxed in to his chair as everyone made themselves at home inside the Panthera. The trip to New Hope City wouldn't take much longer, not at the speed they were going. NAGA headquarters was located at the capital of New America, Washing D.C. It had remained the capital even after all this time. From what Emili's interface said, New Hope City was located at the southern tip of Florida. Of all the change in the world it made William laugh to think that the names of the states had remained the same. Old Canada and Old Mexico had been added to New America nearly 600 years ago. Now they were divded and renamed to be states. Currently there were 65 states within New America. Of course none of them truly had the rights that ancient American's had.
Shaking his head clear of his musings, William sat up and looked out the right window. Emili's voice sounded from the dashboard, "Approaching target destination. Prepare for landing."
William turned his face toward Shepard, "Guess that's your que." He turned back to Emili, "Tell everyone on the ship we're almost there."
Emili's voice was crisp but polite, "Very well Commander." She fell silent before the intercom on the ship beeped, signalling a ship-wide announcement, "Attention crew of the Panthera. We are approaching New Hope City. Prepare for landing and disembarkment."
"Very nice Emili," William said almost absently.
"Thank you Commander," she replied.

Hearing the automated voice, Valerie flinched, standing. All her equipment was still with her, seeing as she carried no firearms. Standing, she stretched her body for a few moments, her mind still elsewhere. Exiting the room, she took a gander around the area she found herself in, noticing she was back at the room with the exit. With a casual shrug she looked around, frowning. If she was going to be completely useless on this mission - she had read the file on the targets during the ride - she was going to confront Ghost Town on it as soon as possible. Her best bet was to get behind enemy line and worm her way in. With her persuasion skills, it would take her less than a day to find out information. However, she was going to have to leave her uniform behind which she wouldn't really regret or dislike. It would just be odd.

During the duration of the flight, Guinevere had been toying around with her newfangled gadgets that were on the USS Panthera. Her mind had been blown apart by all the new heavy weapon system's that had been designed for the fancy little aircraft. Suddenly, the intercom system clicked on and blared out, "We are aproaching New Hope City. Prepare for landing and disembarkment." The loud noises starteled Guinevere from her thoughts and caused her to shift her body upwards and hit her head against the control panal. A few foul mouthed words escaped her lips as she gingerly rubbed her now achiing head and moved across the room towards the metal door.  Pushing the door out, the woman crossed the hallway and up the stairs in meer seconds.  She pulled herself up and went towards the rest of the group.

Daniel saw the land coming closer and closer. Immediately, he switched on the vertical landing thrusters. "Send the ship in nice and easy Emili." Daniel ordered politely as he could. He heard an affirmitive beep, and suddenly the ship began to slow down, until the landing gear slowly unraveled under the ship, and soon to the ground. A small bing sounded, and then a click, signaling that they had landed. Daniel felt his heart race as the thought of those rebels ran through his head once more. They were closer to the point of decision now, whether he would choose to go to that meeting point, or to kill the band of rebels. He thought about it so much, he began to sweat.
Daniel soon pushed it out of his mind, then stood up.

William waited for a moment until he heard Emili announce, "We have arrived at the mission coordinates." William stood from his seat and moved toward the airlock on the craft.
He looked to the ceiling for a moment, "Emili, everyone ready to go?"
Emili easily replied, "Why not ask them yourself Commander? They are right behind you." William looked over his shoulder to see that indeed, his whole crew was behind him."
With a frustrated look on his face he growled, "Thank you Emili."
"You're welcome Commander," she replied, almost with a twinge of sarcasm. William shook his head and pressed the interface near the airlock. After a moment he heard the shifting of gears and a small rush of air from the hydraulics. The airlock opened up and allow the grew of Patriots to disembark. All of them had grabbed their equipment and stepped out of the sleek aircraft. William looked behind him to the rest of the crew before turning back forward to look at the landscape.
They had landed on an old, abandoned shipping platform on a building that was least 100 stories tall. It looked old and rusted though stable enough for now. Each of the tall buildings had long bridges connecting them to one another. William pressed his hand to the com link in his ear, "Systems check. Emili, can you read me?"
"Indeed commander," the AI replied, though a bit static-y. "The rebel targets are in the next building over. It is advised that you cross one of the connecting bridges. It is also recommended that you use stealth."
"Thank you Emili," William grunted as he removed his hand from the com link. "You hear that guys? We're moving out," with the command issued, the Patriots moved out. William just hoped that he was doing the right thing. From what he had seen in the pictures that Slim had shown them, these people we're ordinary, just trying to survive. Perhaps the people that sent him the encrypted message could help these people. Shaking his head he moved his rifle to his front and handled it in a resting position. He was ready to go, so he stepped forward in to the building from the landing platform.

OOC: Oh and grats Resta on getting your warrior name back ;D

ooc; i know, about time, right? haha!

ic; Stepping of, she listened silently to the exchange between Emili and Ghost Town, then followed quietly behind, her body not making a sound. Reaching up to re-tie her hair, she opted for a high ponytail this time, letting her long hair hang over her right shoulder. She followed at the back, closely but not too closely. If they had gotten into a crossfire, Valerie was sure she would be dead in an instant. Her head was low and her movements were swift, yet not showing if she was to follow or to take a different route. Going against these rebels, who had skills and were fighting just to get by in life, scared her. Not much, but enough to have a place in her thoughts which wound tightly around her head. Pursing her lips, she shook her head softly to remain focused. However, one encrypted message continued to invade her mind.

William slipped through the halls of the building, silently but not as much as Dex. He had control over his breathing but not his body at the extend that she did. The group moved easily through the maze until they found some directions on the wall. William had wondered at first why this place had no one around. The building looked in tact, no reason for it to be as desolate as it was. He found a desk within the building that had a pile of papers on it, strewn about in a hurried fashion. One of the papers facing up was pink in color and had the large word, "Contamination" on the front. William's lip twitched. Leave it up to NAGA to send them somewhere contaminated.
William reached for his com link, he whispered softly in case anyone unfriendly was around, "Emili, what's the story on this place? Why is no one here?"
Emili's voice was just as it always was, polite but skirting the edge of sarcasm, "This building was one the headquarters of a large corporation, as were many of the buildings in this area. Around fifteen years ago there was a contamination from one of the building's labs. It caused just about everyone within the city to die for unknown reasons. The disease was short lived and did not spread outside the city. Anyone who currently resides in New Hope City is either in hiding or on the run. Perhaps even both."
"Thank you Emili," William replied. That was odd, why would some disease not spread outside the city? It was to convenient. There must have been darker secrets within the minds of the building dwellers here. Of course it wasn't for William to speculate. He were here to do NAGA's bidding, not investigate. As the group moved through the building they managed to find the bridge that connect the target building. Something just didn't feel right. Perhaps it was just the odd feeling about the former occupants of this building, or perhaps it was a trap. William signaled for the others to take up positions behind cover. He would cross the bridge alone. Slowly he moved through the hall. Wind swept through it since the windows to the outside were cracked and broken in various places. William's nose twitched at a strange smell that came from the outside. He ignored it however and continued to move. Just up ahead the sound of a shifting weapon was heard. William's heart rate increased, not from fear, but from habit. He lifted his fist in signal for the others to follow him. His fingers flicked out the name sign for Dex, she would be able to sneak up on whoever it was better than anyone. He motioned for her to move forward and capture whoever it was, alive if at all possible.

Nodding, Valerie slid silently past Ghost Town, no emotion what so ever crossing her face. A mission was a mission and once focused, nothing but a sharp blow to the back of her head to knock her out could stop her. Sticking to the shadows, Valerie crouching, listening. She knew whoever or whatever was there had not heard nor seen her and if they had, they had lost her. A shifting in the surrounding area caused a swift turn of her head. The person was breathing hard - she could tell adrenaline pumped through their veins. As they neared her, footsteps even and calculated, her eyes narrowed. These rebels were good. As they moved to sneak past her in the shadows, Valerie reached out and wrapped her arm so their arms were behind their back, pressing a hand firmly to their mouth. Resting on her foot was a gun and she gently laid in on the floor, slinking back easily to Ghost Town, yet remaining in the shadows. She had heard more. They would attack and she would die.

As soon as he saw Dex fall back in to position, he and the rest of the crew moved forward with their guns ready to fire. He looked down at the person that Dex had incapacitated. It was an old man, looked as though he barely had any combat training at all. William sneered and pressed forward. He rounded a corner, making sure to have the others in position. The sounds of reinforcements sent William's heart racing once more. This was it. He lifted his hand, counting backward from three. 3... 2... 1... He whipped around the corner, his rifle aimed at the first person he saw. "Get down on the ground!" he screamed.
Terrified eyes and faces all turned to him. Behind William Shepard, Patruskia and GK whipped around as well. Their weapons were trained on the other people. The group that stood before the patriot all looked to be either older than 65 or younger than 15. William shouted once more, "Get down! NOW!"
Immediately they all dropped to the floor, not a single weapons between the lot of them. William charged forward, his rifle's muzzle only inches away from the person it had been trained on, "Where are the rest of you?!"
The man now cowering before the Bio-Agent shook and shivered, "There two stories down! They sent us up to get you! They said that you would know who we are!"
William reached forward and grabbed the man by the collar, hoisting him up. The man he now held was rather short so William had lifted him from the ground. The Commander pulled him close and yelled again, "Where are the rest of you?!"
The man's whole body shook now, "They said you'd know! They sent word before you got here!"
William threw the man to the ground and re-aimed his rifle, "Who are they?!"
The man cowered and refused to talk. William was getting fed up. He turned to the Patriots and waved for them to round up the small group of people and take them hostage. "We'll find the others using them," he growled.
The Commander tapped his hand against the com-link, "Dex, coast is clear. Come meet up with us."
