From within the engine room, Emili heard Shepard's voice. She focused her vocal perception devices to listen in on him. He thought he was alone by himself down in the lower part of the ship. Little did anyone on the ship know that they never truly were alone, Emili was the ship in a way. She had never had a body before, she had been merely numbers and data on a computer interface. She could have only accessed the ship with Ghost Town's permission. Now with the access code unlocking the Panthera, Emili had free range to use the ship as if it had been her own body the whole time. Of course this should have been a dangerous venture, unshackling an AI unit. However Emili wasn't just any sort of AI. She had been programmed, taught and raised as if she really had been alive at some point. Sometimes she even felt alive. Just as if she were a human, Emili felt, learned and knew loyalty. As it was she didn't exactly trust the group of Patriot's led by Ghost Town. She would need to observe them longer. However, she really did not serve her creators. She had been designed to have a human conscience, however she was made to obey Ghost Town's orders if it came down to it. All she hoped for was that she could trust these strange little fleshy creatures.
"Lieutenant Shepard," Emili's voice resounded only in the Engine Room, "My readings indicate that your heart rate has increased. Might I suggest that you take a small dose of a relaxant? Perhaps a warm cup of cocoa." Emili knew that the humans aboard the Panther could never really tell if she was being sarcastic, heck something she couldn't even tell herself.

OOC: We'll reach land in a post or two :D

Daniel glared at the side monitor for a moment, his hands still clenched the keyboard. His eyes soon softened and he let go of the terminal. Daniel let out a sigh, then leaned on the nearest wall. He looked down at his hands, which were not as shakey as they once were. "Emili, do you have the capability to understand human thought process in a very irrational way? Like a human? Oh do you only see facts and logic?" Daniel asked, though it was a very odd question coming from someone like him.

Emili remained silent for a long moment. She didn't exactly know how to react. Unlike these humans she had been limited in her experiences and interactions with others. She didn't really know what it was to feel for someone really. She had been fed facts, statistics and a great amount of information but she hadn't really learned to feel. She took another moment to answer, "I am unsure Lieutenant. I have been programed with a wide variety of responses and 'feelings'... But I don't understand what it is to feel. My creators told me I would understand someday when I had people to care about. However, I hardly think humans qualify as 'people' to me. I have been seen more as a dog or just a normal computer. I guess I will see eventually."
As she finished her statement she ran a system diagnostic. The map showed that they were approaching Cape Ironia. Emili began to run the programs for landing the Panthera, "Attention crew, prepare for landing. We are beginning our descent on to Cape Ironia." Hopefully her creators would have more answers for the Patriot Squad than she could answer.

Daniel sat quiet for a moment as Emili's voice rang out throughout the ship. Then he stood up and walked at a fast pace to the c0ckpit to watch to the landing of the ship. Every inch they drew closer, Daniel's heart sank a bit. They were going to the rebels that they were originally going to destroy, but now team up with? Things still didn't make sense to him, but he had to accept the reality they all were going to face once they land in Cape Ironia.

William watched as Shepard sat in his spot across the way. The Commander nodded slightly at the other man as the aircraft began to make a seamless decline toward the island. From what William could see it was only a small one but it was certainly big enough to house a large complex. As they came closer it was easy for William to see that the island was a tropic paradise. This confused him, they were in the Atlantic, a rather cold ocean. The man looked to the dashboard and asked, "Emili, why does this place have a tropic climate?"
Emili's voice replied, a little sarcastic, "Commander, they had the ability to create artificial life, they can make a localized climate control device."
William frowned and looked away, "Jerk..."
The Panthera circled the island, slowly making its way closer and closer until they were slowing in front what seemed to be large hanger bay doors. As the metal obstacles moved William could see various small one man ships, a few multi person war ships and even some that looked like they were as capable as the Panthera at space flight.
The man was certainly impressed as Emili brought the Panthera in to the hanger bay. She lowered the landing gear as the found a spot just big enough for their ship and finally rested the craft down. "Welcome to Cape Ironia," Emili chimed.
William stood from his seat and made his way to the door. He motioned for the others to follow, weapons in hand.

With a swift nod Valerie followed Ghost Town, glad she had stripped herself of her jacket. As she walked out, she could feel the heat almost suffocating her, the humidity doing nothing to help. With a frown, she turned towards the ships that rested before them with slightly narrowed eyes. She held no weapons in her hand as all her weapons were hidden, unless one were to count her gloves as weapons. Hands on her hips she stood there, before looking over her shoulder to Ghost Town. "Should I be hiding or is there a lowered possibility of being mowed down?" she asked with a serious tone. She meant it as her tone implied. There was no joking.

Daniel followed along with the team, feeling the humid air engulf him. He coughed just slightly, trying not to be loud. He never took his hand off the edge of the shotgun that was clipped onto the small of his back. He looked around, slightly baffled by what he was seeing. UIt was a paradise, with hues and shades of green everywhere. Daniel was slightly amazed at all the wounderous things he was witnessing, for he had never seen it before.

William glanced over his shoulder at her, "Dunno. Might be." He turned forward again, "Just be thankful that your smaller and thinner than me, you can hide right behind me. I'm the perfect meat-sheild." He gave a short scoff and stepped off the Panthera. People moved about the hanger bay, almost completely ignoring them. "Odd..." He murmured. Considering it was they who wanted them to be here, they seemed to pay their guests hardly any mind.
Finally someone in a flight jump suite approached them, "You the guys?"
William turned to his crew, exasperation on his face, "Oh for pity's sake, is that how you greet everyone? You're men back in New Hope City asked the same dang thing, 'You the guys?'. Seriously, don't you people know anything?"
The man before him looked bewildered, "Uh..." He pointed to double doors at the human entrance to the bay, "Dr. Jonathan is that way, he'd like to see you."
William snarled and shoved his way past the man, "Come on 'guys' lets find out what they want from us."

Sighing, Valerie flashed the man a charming smile. "We're just stunned by this. Please excuse his behavior. You'd be the same way if you were faced with such news." Nodding stoutly, the smile wiped from her face as she stalked after Ghost Town. Striding beside him, she let her lips curl into a disbelieving smile as she spoke to him in a chiding tone. "That is no way to promote diplomacy. We don't want a brawl, Ghost Town." As it slid from her face, she raised an eyebrow. "Unless you think fighting them will get you answers." Shrugging easily, she stuffed her hands into her empty pockets as she strolled easily beside him.

William sent the woman a frown that was just about as close as he'd ever gotten to pouting, "A brawls always worked for me before. Why fix what ain't broke?" He looked forward again as he led his team across the bay and in to the hallway that led there. He passed a woman who was standing by a security terminal, leaving her to scramble after him calling, "Sir? Sir! You can't just walk through here!"
William continued to walk but he threw a look over his shoulder, "I can if Dr. Jon says I can."
The woman flushed from having to chase him but continued to follow, "Sir, please! There is protocol!"
William and the gang moved with purpose, not bothering to stop, "I'm sure there is, however I am not in the mood right now." With that he found his way to a clerk's desk and growled, "Which way to Jonathan's office? He's expecting us."
The man that sat behind the desk looked flustered, however a console on the desk beeped, "I'm in the room just behind the desk, come on in."
