Daniel looked over to the door where Henry entered. A look of disgust appeared on Daniel's face. How he wished to feel Henry's neck crush in his hands. A burning hate arose in him, but he kept himself quiet from any more outbursts he might do. For the second time, Daniel felt a fiery rage well up within him, and that the only thing to sate his fire, is the quenching spill of blood. He wanted this man to die, to suffer, to pay in anguish and agony. Worm. Daniel thought, a fitting word to describe Henry.

Lazily turning towards Henry, Valerie was glad her apathetic personality had resurfaced. "Yes you can, old man," sneered Valerie. Her eyes flashed for a second. Her arms that had been previously hanging by her sides were shoved into her pockets. At his disgusted expression at her choice of description for him, she gave a cold laugh, throwing her head back. Almost instantly, with a step, she was in front of him. He was tall, but so was she. And though she didn't tower over him, she was not afraid of him. "You can threaten me with death all you want. But do you wanna know what doesn't add up? Your attitude. Your power. Who are you and what are you? On the message, whoever it was sounded frantic. You seem calm and calculating. You must be a great actor, old man." Her tone was slow and lazy and showed she had no intentions of leaving his presence anytime soon. Hands swinging lazily by her sides, she tilted her head to the side in an almost endearing way. Almost. The look in her eyes insinuated there was nothing innocent of her and rather there was confusion and rage. "Maybe I shouldn't be speaking to you at my current state of distress but... no matter. What exactly are we here to do for you?" Her lip curled back in a snarl and Valerie's usually monotone features turned to that of a graceful - yet extremely angry - woman. "It doesn't add up - doesn't make any sense. Are you a raving lunatic, old man? Or have I lost my touch?"

Henry smiled, albiet a little sadistically, at Dex. When she brought up the encrypted message he merely laughed and turned away from her, though her movements followed him, "That message you heard wasn't from me. I had one of my associates give it to you. To be honest I was surprised you all answered it. In the message my associate told you that you were to go on the grandest adventure of your life time. You were not who you thought you were and that you are indeed one of us. I'm just surprised at the hostility you all have shown."
Emili listened to Henry's words. The message he was talking about didn't even come close to the one that her squad had heard. Emili may have not been in one of the rooms, but he had been the direct link up for the message. Whoever it was that Henry had chosen to rely the message wasn't who the man thought it was. Things were only getting more and more complicated as she thought about it. The AI leaned closer to Shepard and whispered, "When Ghost Town wakes up I must speak with him. There is something larger at work here."
Henry had continued to speak despite Emili not really paying attention. He lifted his hand to his jaw and scratched at his beard the same way that Ghost Town had with his stubble, "I know its all to much to take in, I'm just glad you all listened to the message. It would have been a shame to kill you, however if I hadn't told my associate to include that in the message I wasn't sure if you'd all show up." Emili's body stiffened in reaction to Henry's claims, it seemed unnatural to her. Henry was talking about a message that she had never received. Was the person that contacted the Patriot Squad even apart of the Splinter Cell? Thinking back through her archives, Emili found an anomaly. The encrypted message she had received had most of the required passwords, but not all of them. This made the mechanized heart within Emili's chest send a shock through her body, just about as close as she could get to her heart skipping a beat. Emili felt as if she had betrayed the Patriot Squad, she hadn't take her team to the real people who had sent that message. Fear clouded her programming and she couldn't process straight. Being in a human-ish body was difficult and confusing.

Still snarling, Valerie took another step so she was inches away from him. Eyes narrowing, she barked, "What are you talking about, old man! I heard no such things in that message are you insane..." Trailing off, she took a few steps back before allowed a guttural sound emit from her throat. Taking out her hunting knife, she was instantly in front of him, the point of her knife aimed at his throat. "What are you talking about? Have you gone senile? Don't lie to me, you fool, or I'll kill you before you can order my death." Throughout her anger, she had analyzed what he had said and calculated that nothing added up and turned towards Emili. "What happened?"

Emili stepped up and pressed her hand against Dex's shoulder, willing the woman to stop blowing their cover. Yet, she could not take back what was said. Henry's eyes narrowed, "What do you mean?" He turned to Emili with anger in his face. The AI stiffened again and met the man's gaze. She quickly attempted to lose any sort of emotion in her face.
The AI spoke easily and with conviction, "The message was cut off to quickly. Agent Dex may be referring to never having heard the ultimatum." With that she turned to Dex, wishing and hoping the woman would just keep her mouth shut, "Agent Dex did not get the chance, nor did any of the Patriots get the chance to hear their choices. I figured brining them to you would alleviate the need to terminate them. It would also give them a chance to know of their heritage." The AI fell silent and turned back to Henry.
The man looked skeptical but satisfied, "Very well Emili. I expected more from you, but you're only an AI. We'll just come up with a better program and replace you later." Emili's face didn't show it but a shock ran through her body, how dare he! "You're an AI, I'm certain you are rational enough to see how practical my suggestion is," he snickered and walked away to the middle of the room. Emili had never had the urge to kill, but at this moment she felt she could. She meant even less to him than her squad mates did. She was nothing more than a simple program easily discarded. Emili had never known what it was to feel such despair but she felt it now in a depth and volume that was to much to comprehend.

Daniel looked at Henry with shock. "You would destroy someone who is loyal to you, just because you think she is 'obsolete'?" He questioned. "You throw away a perfectly good AI?" He growled. "You can't do this." Then he realized, this man did not only really care about their well-being, he also didn't care for those who had the same interest as them. "You are as bad as NAGA. You terminate those you think you don't 'need'." He felt his anger rise again. "Well we need her. Consult us, or Ghost Town, she's our's, not your anymore." He began to be defensive.

Looking at Emili, she understood and gave a thankful nod. Turning towards Henry, she nodded in agreement. Sliding the knife back into it's sheathe, she snarled. "You have no idea how badly I want to slit your throat. As soon as Ghost Town is back and well send us out to kill something or I might just kill everyone in my way." Frowning, she looked at Emili sympathetically. "AI or not, you're part of our team now and nobody is killed on our watch." Sending a glare at Henry, she placed a comforting hand on Emili's shoulder for a second before letting it drop back to her side. "We should get back to Ghost Town before old man tries to kill him again."

Emili heard and saw the sympathetic glances and comments that the two had made. It made something well within her, perhaps it was thankfulness at their responses. Perhaps it was relief that someone actually valued her presence. Within a moment she rounded on Henry as well, her face contorting in to a mask of anger. She despised this man as much as they did, even if he was her creator.
Henry's laugh only drove the hatred onward, "Very well, you'll have your wish. There is a particularly annoying squad NAGA has been sending out to thwart our efforts. They are known as Ghost Squad. They are NAGA's pride and joy." Henry stepped up to the holo-interface and typed a few things in. After a moment the image of a map appeared. It looked to be zooming in on the southern parts of what in ancient times was known as the Alabama/Georgia border. "Our intelligence department has determined that their newest mission will be located here," he pointed to a small complex directly on the border. It was in a rural area of a forest, hidden by ancient trees. "There is a landing zone not to far from there, you'll all have to walk in to the facility. Using stealth is advised," the man laughed before continuing, "Remember, Ghost Squad is the best of the best. Perhaps even more-so than you all. They have no conscious, unlike you. Kill them the moment you have them in your sights. Is that understood?"
Emili's jaw clenched when Henry turned to her, "You'll have all the mission specs the moment you board the Panthera again. You'll see that we've installed an area in the cargo bay for your body to charge while you assume the Panthera as your temporary body."
Emili frowned before saying tightly, "Acknowledged."
Henry turned from them, waving his dismissal, "Very well, be on your way. Ghost Town has been transferred aboard the Panthera. Should be fine any minute now. Why don't you go see him and give him my regards."
Emili turned tightly, hoping some sort of cosmic event would happen and strike that horrid man down. Her thought patterns were becoming increasing impractical and very human. This worried her. As the small group left the room she led them back to the Panthera and climbed aboard. She would let the others see Ghost Town first as she downloaded her conscious back in to the ship. From there she would be able to monitor the leader better and closer than anyone else could.

OOC; Now that I think about it, Henry created Ghost Town and Emili, sort of a weird brother/sister thing going on there... XD

ooc; ... trippy. xD
skipping the walking because that could go on for posts... >.
ic;
With arms crossed, Valerie stood in front of Ghost Town, frowning. "You idiotic, reckless jerk!" whined Valerie, sounding very childish. She was very glad at the moment that he was asleep - or at least, she thought he was - because she continually stomped her foot. "You're our leader, we're on a mission and you're sleeping like a baby because you're a selfish jerk." Restraining the urge to punch him in the chest a few times, she sighed, holding her head in her hands. She was the first one aboard the ship and the first to see Ghost Town. "I'll get you back for this." Taking a deep breath, she composed herself as everyone else walked in. The only sign of her frustration was the deep red of her cheeks from her rage.

OOC: Yeah... We've taken enough time just hanging out in the splinter cell headquarters XD

IC:
William had remained unconscious during the whole time that the other confronted Henry. When they had moved him here he had finally managed to awake just a bit. His brown eyes opened only a slight bit before the group came back. He had fallen asleep for a sort while, that was until Dex came in. He had kept quiet and not moved in the hopes that she wouldn't harm or maim him, it was hard enough to breathe as it was. He felt bad for having tested Henry's resolve, it had only done William harm. He had seen that his supposed father cared nothing for him, he felt the same about everyone under his command. He was supposed to be their leader, how was he going to justify being out of action when they needed him the most.
As soon as Dex stopped talking he opened his eyes. Sadness filled their brown depths. "I'm sorry," he rasped. William could count on one hand how many times he had uttered that phrase before, it felt worse now than ever. He didn't speak anymore, he hoped the weight of his words would help diminish her anger.
