Dainel remained silent, though he had a very displeased--to put in the lightest of terms--look on his face. Though all of this made him trust Emili a bit more, now that he knew that she was just as lost as they were. And now that she was along for the ride, he felt they all had an advantage over the splinter cell, even if only it was small. "Emili." He called. "I want to know, is there a possible option to remove this failsafe? Or change the password?" Both fear and hope swirled in his apple green eyes.

Immediately Valerie froze and stared at Ghost Town with wide eyes. "... I'm sorry?" she asked. It wasn't out of anger, it was more out of confusion. Finally understand, she nodded. "Ah. Yeah. No, it's okay. I mean, no, it's not okay. But it is because you're reckless and stupid but that makes you who you are and I respect that." Shrugging, she looked around. With a sheepish laugh, she rubbed the back of her neck. Hearing she was human had seemed to take some of the monotone-tendencies of her personality away. "I didn't really mean for you to hear that. It was a childish tirade." Sobering, she kept one hand on her neck, she other in her pocket as she looked at the wall. Bowing her head forwards with a sigh, she raised an eyebrow at him. "Anyways, I'm sure Emili will debrief you better, but in a nutshell... I've managed to convince the old man to send us on a mission. We're going after the Ghost Patrol - blood thirsty killers with skills better than ours. He suggests we use stealth." With a shrug, she knew Emili could hear her. "But then again, that's not our real mission at the moment, though we probably should kill them." Her voice was apathetic - for though most had been lifted due to stress and confusion and revelation, other tendencies remained - as she spoke and her tone annoyed as she spoke about it.

William listened to what she had to say, though he didn't react really. So they were being sent on a mission, same old story it seemed. Someone intend on using them for their own gain, what else was new? Still it was interesting that they were being pitted against Ghost Squad. William shifted on his cot, not really wanting to move but knowing that the mission was important. He turned on to his side, swinging his legs over the edge of the cot and on to the floor. He winced and hissed in pain. His body was sore, whatever the failsafe did, it wasn't pretty. "We probably should kill them," the Commander rasped, the affects of the failsafe had caused this. "I just don't really understand any of whats going on really," he sighed, coughing in the process. "Here, help me up. I should be in the commanding officer's chair at the head of the Pathera.

Emili heard both Shepard and the conversation between Dex and Ghost Town at the same time. Being back in the Panthera alleviated some of the human emotions that had flooded her in the body, but not all of them. "I'm not sure," she replied to Shepard, "I can check the archives but its likely that the information is highly classified. Its going to take a while to access it, but I will try. I will update you if I find anything."

"Thank you Emili." He replied. "I might be able to hack some of the files and security clearances, though I may get locked out, or worse, found out. I should start with the lower security files, and work my up." He added, walking to the front of the ship. He then sat down in the pilot's chair. It felt a lot different now. The first time he sat down in the chair, he was excited, and new what he was up against, or so he thought. But now, he felt a bit somber, very reluctant to do what he was told. But he would still do what he was told, as long as someone was holding the reigns on his freedom. I will kill Ghost Squad, no matter who, or what will get in my way. He tried to back to his old mindset, to alliviate his regret.

Nodding, Valerie made it so his arm draped around her shoulders. Throwing an arm around his waist she raised an eyebrow. "Now, we have to walk at the same time or I will drop you. Or push you into a wall. If I drop you it will - preferably - be out the ship." Though her tone was serious, well... she knew that no one would actually allow her to toss her commander out of the ship so she stayed with words. With a sigh, she tossed her head back as she easily walked. "Let's just say that NAGA isn't out ally and neither is the old man." Making sure he could see what she was mouthing, she added, "And he wasn't the one who sent us the message." With an easy-going shrug, she frowned. "No one is sure anymore. I might as well toss myself off the ship," she offered jokingly.

William laughed, actually with humor this time, "That'd be a sight." However, despite the slight ease in his voice, he really was worried. If the old man didn't give them the message then there someone else out there that had. That's all they needed, another group of jerks to use him and his crew shamelessly. William gave the woman's shoulder a reassuring squeeze, reminding him of his days growing up when he had to reassure those in his camp even when all hope was lost, "We'll figure this all out eventually. Heck, if we don't then we're all dead. So long as we stick together we'll be fine." Despite his words, he wasn't sure at all. If either group took any of his crew away, they'd take away the only thing he cared about. The only people that were like him.
Finally they reached the commanding officer's chair next to Shepard's. Sinking in to the seat, William let out a hiss of pain, "How're things up here?"

"I'm not sure about fine, but... Someone will get out alive," replied Valerie, waving a dismissive hand. Placing her hand on his shoulder for a fleeting second, she nodded to him. "You've had your rest... I need mine. I assume I will be awoken when we reach the destination so I'll be taking my leave." Flicking her wrist in a primal salute, Valerie sauntered off to the bedrooms where she found a bed and just fell down onto it, quickly slipping into a slumber. It was not deep so one could not wake her, but it was deep enough that she could sleep and not be bothered by idle chat.

Daniel looekd to face Ghost Town, a smirk on his lips. "You look terrible." He said in a joking manner. He wasn't exactly friends with Ghost Town, but they had to work together, so he might as well be as friendly as he could be, in his own, 'Daniel' way. He looked out through the window, a heavy sigh released from his mouth. "This is going to be one wild ride." He said grimly. Then he gave a dertermined look to Ghost Town. "So let's hang on and enjoy it." He smirked once again, but not sarcastically.

William tossed a glance over to Shepard, a frown on his face, "Really? Have you looked in a mirror to compare lately? I'm the only one around here that makes us look good." After a moment and complete seriousness on his face, William's mouth cracked in to a soft smile and his brown eyes lit up with playful banter. He looked forward, the screen that had the line in it that moved when Emili spoke was silent and the line didn't move. However at his joke, the line made a soft quiver, as if Emili had laughed. William lifted a brow at it curiously, was it possible that Emili could laugh? Mind you, William had no been conscious at the discovery of Emili's new body, and therefore he had no idea that she had been developing human qualities.
The man looked out the window as he spoke in a raspy voice, "How long till we get where we're going Emili?"
The voice immediately replied, softer now than he remembered, "We will be there within four hours."
"Four?" William sounded surprised, "This hunk of junk is supposed to be the fasted thing in NAGA's fleet!"
"Indeed," came Emili's reply, albeit the voice sounded a bit offended, "However we are avoiding both NAGA and the Splinter Cell's airspace. There is hardly any place to fly if we don't want our presence tracked. I am taking every precaution to keep you and my crew mates alive Commander."
William lifted a brow at the dashboard, "Very well Emili."

OOC: In a post or so I will get us to the destination ;D

Daniel frowned at Ghost Town's remark, then looked forward through the glass again. "So what's four hours?" He tossed an encouraging glance to Ghost Town, although he'd probably be shot down by the commander. Daniel looked over to the dashboard, and began to tap his fingers on the arm of his chair. "Right nowmay be the most peaceful time ever that all of us experienced." Began to try a conversation. "Despite the threat of NAGA and those idiots in the splinter cell, this ship may be the only thing we actually can feel safe in." Daniel describes the cons, but it sounded more or less like he was in thought. "Well of course we also have those things in our bodies that can kill us at any time Henry feels like it. So that's kind of scaling the playing field down a lot of sizes." Daniel grumped.
