Shepard followed close behind. He was surprised and amazed at how human Emili was. It's astounding how much technology can do, if they can just recreat humans, maybe even make them better. He watched Emili's figure move as he followed behind. His eyes trailed lower down to the small of her back, and instantly he lifted his eyes up and forward, his face flushing. I hope we get this mission done fast. He thought, leading his mind back to subject.

OOC: Just to let you guys know, Venomheart has been removed from the RP. Briarlyric might be removed as well though she's got a little bit more time before I have to kick her out ^^"

William entered the building, his second magnum drawn and pointing ahead. He stopped at a corner that led off in two directions. There were no noises within the walls of this eerie place save for the noises made by William and his gang's leather boots. He led his group through the halls, careful to make sure that his crew was right behind him. The man moved through a few more corridors, hoping to run in to Dex at some point. The Ghost Squad was no one to be seen, in fact the only evidence that they had been there at all were a few corpses every now and again. There were no small notches in the walls where misfired bullets would have gone. William's heart raced with that same adrenaline that it always did when he was around the signs of battle. Ghost Squad was excellent at their job. Hopefully they would be disposing of evidence giving William and his gang time to find them. Rounding another corner William felt that something wasn't right. Someone was watching them, he could tell.
The man stepped forward carefully, GK following just behind him. It was only after he heard the loud bang that he realized that GK had hit the floor hard. "Get to cover!" he shouted grabbing GK's arm. William dragged to behind a corner, blood leaving a trail behind them. Gun fire resounded in the hall as the rest of the team kept firing their weapons, trying to find the assassin. William quickly reached for GK's neck and tried to feel for her pulse however it had rapidly faded under his fingers. William's heart froze. That was one gone, only five left of his kind. William hadn't talked to the woman very much but that didn't excuse Ghost Squad from killing her.
William gritted his teeth and grabbed his rifle. He aimed around the corner and looked through the scape. A small hole in the wall was what was used as the vantage point, not any long though. William squeezed the trigger harshly and bullets rapidly left the rifle. Whoever it was that was shot let out a hard yell that turned to a gurgling sound, William had managed to get 'em... but at the cost of one of his own. Turning to the others he motioned for them to move along again, just keep their eyes open.

Turning the corner, Valerie came to see a corpse of a heavily armored man. Eyes narrowing, she stepped on his arm amd double-checked his pulse to make sure he was dead. Standing tall, she heard the footsteps of her teammates and relaxed slightly. Looking around the corner she saw blood and frowned. A loss; that much she knew. Stepping around, she looked at her teammates. Without her boots and with her cargo pants rolled down one could see how slim she really was. With a cool glance she glanced from the blood to the man then walked off after making eye contact with Ghost Town.

William's face looked drawn and old when Dex finally appeared around the corner. He had been startled for a moment since she made no sound, but when she was there he couldn't have been gladder. At least they suffered only one loss. William approached her and nodded, "Good job." He passed her by and continued down another hall. That would make three if William actually knew that Dex had taken out two. So far he was still looking for five others. "Did you bring any down?" William asked over his shoulder. He found his way to a stair case that would lead to lower levels. If anything important had been going on in this facility, down stairs is where it could have been. This made it easy to figure out where Ghost Squad would have gone if they were seeking to destroy information.

Holding up two fingers, Valerie nodded. "They're paralyzed and tied up. There is no possible way to save them," she replied in a cold voice. She ignored the blood and ignored the bullet holes. Looking at her feet for a moment, she added, "I lost my shoes, however..." The way she said it so bluntly made it close to comical. She slipped in and out of the shadows on the balls of her feet silently, a detatched look on her face. Throwing out an arm to hold Ghost Town back, she nodded no to him. "One at a time. They will hear you." At that she lowered her height and descended the stairs without a sound.

William gritted his teeth and growled darkly, there was only so many more times she could do that before actually getting shot at. The man watched the shadows but couldn't see or hear anything now that she was gone. Thank goodness that Ghost Squad had follow the handbook on this situation and cut the main power to the building so that the occupants wouldn't see what was coming. Lucky for him it also worked against them as well. The emergencies lights were dim to say the best and in a building where windows were rare to say the least, it was almost pitch black the further you went in to the facility. Not to mention it was still dark outside.
William waited only a little bit longer before moving down the stairs after Dex, the others would stay up at the top until enough time had passed so that they could move as well. the dark haired commander moved as stealthily as he could, keeping his magnum handily. His breathing had steadied so that he could hear any noise, however the only noise he heard was his own breathing and foot steps. The three left in the building were probably the two commanding officers and a very good agent. William hated the odds they were up against, especially considering that if they failed the mission, or just simply weren't needed anymore, they'd be killed. This sucked.

Daniel felt disturbed at GK's death. She talked so big, saying that nobody could ever mess with her, and then she was gone. Just like that. He fell silent, his face pale form the idea that at anytime, they could die. It took them all years to become who they were, and then someone could take it away in a matter of seconds. Daniel felt his heat quicken its pace from the fear and adrenilne.

Stopping, Valerie stood beside Ghost Town and frowned. Sliding her hand over his mouth as a warning of his breathing being loud, she also stepped on his feet as a second warning. With that she once again slid away and hid in the shadows. Waiting for a signal, Valerie listened as they all descended the stairs. Quietly, but not quietly enough, and in her mind a swarm of cursing flooded her mind for a second, hissing because Ghost Patrol would get them if they werent more quiet. Taking a slow, quiet breath she slithered beside Ghost Town's uneven breathing, scowling at him in the dark. For all she knew, he was next. And, in the back of her mind, that scared her.

William had nearly jumped out of his skin when Dex had silently wrapped her hand around his mouth. His heart rate increased until he realized who it was. A frown pressed on his mouth under her hand at her scowl in the dark. He was trying to be quiet but he wasn't her. He stepped forward slowly again, though it wasn't as quiet as Dex would have liked. Ghost Squad must be around somewhere but if they were near, he couldn't hear them.
William didn't want to die really, but he out of those remaining had been the closest to it recently. He didn't think anyone on his team was afraid of dying, they were just afraid of being alone in this world, he had the same fear. The group moved down the hall as quietly as they could manage. There was no sign of the rest of their enemy. It was all William could do to not scream in frustration. This was taking too long and every moment that passed by was the advantage of Ghost Squad. William was the Commander and it was his responsibility to get his group out, how was he going to do that if he only led them deeper behind enemy lines?
He sighed softly as he began to round another corner, whatever noise he had made finally triggered a response from the enemy. A loud shot rang out through a large room they William had turned to enter in. The bullet sized by the same ear that it had before, his right ear, cause the still clotting wound to reopen. "Oh come on!" he roared as he burst in to the room and headed for cover. Bullets zipped by as he stormed through the barren room. Of course Ghost Squad hd picked a place with a "No Man's Land" in it. It was a large square room with four stone pillars close to the corners. On the far side was an opening that led down a hallway. In that hall were two doors leading to rooms with windows that looked in to the large square room, Ghost Squad had turned those two rooms in to bunkers with easy view in to the room William was now trapped in. Hunkering down behind the pillar, William grabbed his assault sniper and aimed. However the bullets that were flying at him and glancing off the walls didn't allow him time to fire properly. He waited a moment until one of the gunners needed to reload and he took his chance. He let out a barrage of bullets and managed to get one of the assailants. Whoever it was hit the floor hard. Only two more to go.

Daniel jumped over to a cover behind one of the pillars, he held his shotgun close, until he too fired. One, two, three, reload. That was the repetitive motion he did, beside cover and attack. Bullets chipped at the pillar, some of them hit the wall. Daniel came out of his cover for a moment, and shot his gun once more, until one of the enemies hit the floor. Daniel felt a hot pang and a whizzing sound. Daniel jumped back from reaction, and looked down at his shoulder. THe bullet skimmed the skin, leaving a small chunk missing. Blood dripped down from his suit. Daniel grit his teeth. Ignoring it. He thought, though the pain was still present.
